Hi guys, I'm currently playing a fury warrior, you can probably check out my armory...
But here are my questions: do you know any rotation or something for fury that might boost up your DPS?
Do I have anything wrong in gems/items for my class, and do I have to use Heroic Strke 24/7 while I'm dpsing in 25 mans?
Currently I was DPSing in Ulduar and TotC25 but I never managed to get anything different than 4000-5000 DPS using a WW/Bloodthrist on cooldown and heroic strike 24/7, Bloodsurge when proc and BL/WW are both on CD.
And after the nerf is it worth stacking ArP once again?
Thanks in advance!

Hey, I've been doing much reading of the discussion between agi / armp gemming for current MM builds. I've played both specs at top ends and i enjoy marks much more. The one thing I'm confused about however is when gemming for armor pen becomes expotentially greater than agility? The World of Warcraft Armory here is a link to my armory, I've been messing around with using the Runestone as well as a greatness deck there. One thing I know from marks to survival is i lost 11% crit on the dot basically(11.02%) and I feel my crit is currently too low to run the armor pen style. I am not good with the number crunching of hunters as I haven't been playing wow for along time(Played Lineage2 for 3 years) If anyone is willing to help me understand this a little better, or help me where you think you could I would greatly appreciate it, I guess my main concern is where do i want my crit / armp to be before removing the runestone as I see many hunters who used the runestone at 1k~ armp, now remove it for greatness / darkmatter once they get to about 1200. Thanks in advance!

I haven't seen anyone mention this, but it LOOKS like the ooc proc chance with predators swiftness is 58.33%. I haven't tested this, but my guess is: predators swiftness causes spells cast to be treated as if they have a 10 second cast time. At 3.5 ppm, the chance for a ooc proc is 10/60 * 3.5, or 58.33%.

Seems to me like a pain in the ass, and it will probably end up kinda bugged or shitty. None of the changes, blizzard gave us rly were extraordinary, i will try not to jump in conclusions tho..

UH pvp hit (special attacks and spells)
I've tried posting this on simple questions/simple answers only to get an off-the-wall answer w/ no explanation.
If pve hit is 14% base +1 for every level above 80
What is pvp hit for "special attacks and spells" against another 80 in pvp?
I know that melee is 5% or 163.95 hit rating for pure melee swings against an 80 (i'm hit capped for the 5%)
The problem here is I tested how hard I hit w/ SS on my resto druid friend and I missed 4 out of 5 special attacks while having a 164 hit rating aka 5% hit.
My question is what's a comfortable hit rating to shoot for in pvp against another 80 where we won't have to sacrifice too much but we'll never miss w/ spells and special strikes.
In simple questions/simple answers I got a response of "you need 4% spell hit" but didn't explain how he came up w/ that number when base hit against an 80 for a spell caster is 14%

Was your druid friend a Night Elf?
As far as I'm aware, Night Elves have a racial bonus of 2% chance to be missed.

Simply looking at the posters profile shows he himself is a Night Elf, and that Night Elves are the only allience race (at the moment) capable of being a Druid, then I belive that would be a safe asumption that they are indeed a Night elf he was attacking.

There is a PvP Forum at EJ with a DK specific thread called Deathknight PvP Thread for questions like this.
A simple web search on either hit rating or spell hit rating will return WoWWiki entries that answer both questions. Melee hit rating for same level PvP opponents, as folks noted is 5% vs even level mobs for special attacks and 2 handed melee. Spell hit needed for same level PvP opponents is 4%. Certain races and classes (like ours) have abilities or talents that make them harder to hit, just as certain abilities make it easier to hit targets.
What one is conformable with is, by definition, a matter of personal preference. The typical PvP caps tend to work for some people. Other people will want more.

Hi everyone,
How important is expertise, REALLY? If I'm mutilate and I run with the quick recovery talent, and I'm running a very easy rotation without weapon swap envenom only, and most of the times I'm behind the boss, is it viable to ignore expertise and hence get better stats on AGI/AP/CRIT etc?
Expertise might be useful to ensure SnD doesnt drop and stuff. However, do I need 'cycle stability' if I'm running such an easy rotation? Or is the some misses on mutilate, and some misses on envenom (+28energy because of QR) a significant deal?
We all know our only expertise piece is t9 head/shoulders so thinking if i should pick those up.
Thanks much!

Most gemming options that I've tried shows that gemming for ArP doesnt become a DPS increase until you near 800 to 900 passive ArP (i.e majority in Heroic TotGC gear). Also you other stats have a slight impact where this point falls but just getting one of the trinkets now doesnt mean you can gem ArP anymore, even when trying to soft cap for the 10 seconds the trinket is active. Granted that Arcane Shot is still dropped pretty early in the ArP curve. When the nerf to ArP came out, it kind of split the Marks Hunters into 3 categories instead of 2.
For Hunters less then 350-400 passive ArP, using Arcane Shot along with it talent.
For Hunters between 350ish and 850ish ArP, dropping Arcane Shot and using the ArP spec while continuing to gem for Agility.
For Hunters above 850ish ArP switching Agility gems to ArP Gems.
Of course you would still need to check out the spreadsheet values to see what gems would be most beneficial to you at your current gear standings. A full ArP gemming now pretty much requires you to be clearing TotGC and picking up the heroic forms of the gear.

So let me ask u something in the part u say " For Hunters between 350ish and 850ish ArP, dropping Arcane Shot and using the ArP spec while continuing to gem for Agility. " do we need to use the runestone or if we have an option to put like dark matter plus greatnes card would be better ?
My hunter got 745 arp passive gemming almost full Arp plus the trinket (runestone ) and i also changed greatnes card to dark matter but i don't know why i lost some dps :S
what's the nice option here for me re-gemming full agi agi/crit and get a passive arp of 550 or some and change the runestone whit greatnes plus dark matter ?
ty in advance

Satrina Buff Frames have been added since this has been taken as well as some other minor additions but this is the general idea. (everything is keybound, kept buttons visible for aesthetic appeal and the ability to track a few cooldown timers)

Here's a list of all the spellpower shields and their drop locations at WoWHead. This includes every shield with spellpower added in Wrath of the Lich King to this point.
As for gear lists and guides...I'd check the Best In Slot Guide at TheHolyPaladin.com.

Hit Vs Haste Issue
Hello all
Well I have been reading some of these posts and I am still a bit confused here.
I was in a raid with a warlock who had better gear yes, but the has was 557.
Mine is 279 I am hit capped at 460 due to +hit gems.
Their DPs was 2x that of mine even thought I am capped.
Should I re-gem haste or Sp? Or just get better gear ?
i just got rid of the Conquerors Chest for the one I am wearing.
The World of Warcraft Armory
My usual raid consist of two draenai & a Boomnkin.
But I am trying to make sure I am viable either way
I have both 41/30 & 17 54 spec.
-cheers
