I would like to point out this thread, and this post in particular:
Raiding and debuff slots (Credits to Darian_TruBlade and the other people who have been posting relevant information.)
It seems like debuffs and debuff-slots might become a very real problem in WOTLK raiding.
I’m posting this here because it seems like a good place the get the answer in an orderly fashion, and from the people who know the most about it. I’ll be re-posting this in the other similar threads as well.
So I’m just going to ask here which debuffs your class and it’s speccs bring.
I’d furthermore appreciate it if you broke them down into, or specified which type of, these three categories:
Raid-debuffs: Debuffs that are “shared” with other classes, debuffs that will overwrite or replace eachother. (30% bleed damage, 13%spell damage, etc)
High-uptime personal debuffs: Debuffs that have an uptime close to 100%. (Curses, Poisons, etc)
Mid- and low-uptime personal debuffs: Typically debuffs which don’t fit in the other two categories. (Don’t have any specific examples, but I imagine there might be some debuffs who don’t go up often, or don’t stay up for long)
The bottom line is figuring out if lack of debuffslots will become a serious issue.
And if it turns out to be, figure out which debuffs should be the first to cut.
And also make blizzard aware of how serious the problem is. In case that will speed up their efforts to fix things (If there is something to fix).
So if you could reply in the aforementioned thread, (doing it in this thread would just make things really hard to keep track of methinks)it would greatly help with sorting this out.
I also hope I'm not stepping on any moderating toes with this, I realize it's a bit overkill to post this all over the place, but it hasn't gotten much attention.
