Hi guys,
I've was comparing arms and fury on a heroic dummy yesterday, cause I'm not sure what spec is putting out the most dps with my current gear. A couple hours later I came to the conclusion that I was doing more dps in arms (I believe it was around 150/200 dps more). But still I keep reading that fury clearly out-dpses arms in raids. Does this also go for my situation? I know I'm not fully soft-hit capped (344 hit / 361 needed) atm but that's easily gained. So I'm asking you guys, should I respec fury or stay in arms for now? And if I should stick to arms now, when would be the point to respec?
Thanks
(P.S. I know most of my enchants aren't the ones that are supposed to be there)

I hate to be critical of this thread, but I'm not seeing much of anything new or interesting that doesn't really boil down to, "Well, I sold this for X gold" or "this sells for X on my server."
Making gold in this expansion is really only different in this expansion for blacksmithing, where suddenly you have craftables to sell. But that's fairly basic (and quickly outperformed by drops). I'm just not seeing anything that's terribly new or cutting edge. Crafting items for mats that cost less than the dusts/shards/essences they create is basic basic.
I feel sorry for the dead horse right about now.

Oh, the dead horse has been kicked all over the place long ago. This is more like digging up the dead horse to send it to the glue factory, making sure every part gets used but only by kicking said parts into the machienery delivery gates, and then kicking the glue too.

I don't think it matters that this is a dead horse. There is clearly an interest in the discussion of WotLK's flavour of these market events, despite the fact that history is probably just repeating itself. And in the process of discussing these regurgitated topics, some new insights might just pop up that people can benefits from.

Hitcapped?!
Hi, i have used the search engine but havnt found the things i'm looking for...
so...
Is the melee hitcap really changed to 8% ?
and if it changed is which rating is more important for an unholyDK 8%melee (262,32/ 229,53 as draenei) or 17% spellhit (445,91/ -3%misery -3%virulenz [-1%draenei] 262,3)?

Question About items.
Hey, Im using the Valorous Dreadnaught Legplates currently, and today i obtained the Legplates of double Strikes. i want a simple answer to whom of theese two legs are the best one fit for a warrior Dps. The ArP rating on the Double strikes legs seems very nice, only with a bit less crit as the valorous ones, and loosing the Exp rating over the Arp rating, wich is of no issue for me atm since im on 190 Exp rating. And from what ive picked up on the spreadsheets on this forum, ArP Affects ur Dps by alot, especially during execute spam time.
Anyone could come to a conclution for me on wich legs to go with ?
I also have a question About Fury warrior Weapons.
Betrayer of Humanity in MH and Armageddon in OH or 2x Betrayer or 2x armageddon (200 haste from 2 weps are insane, and might overdo the dps output you could get from Betrayer of humanity, even tho the axe has way more dps and bigger Max Hit etc)
Thanks for any replies who can make me get an easier time choosing what to go for.
Phatty.

I suppose someone has to ask the noob question about which enchant LOOKS cooler.
When you're into cutting edge content and such, looks don't matter and you only look at min/maxing stats.
However, looks are one of the fun parts of being a slacker casual :P
What graphics do the new enchants come with? Can't peak at them in-game since i'm on exile from wow during exam period.

Really Really Need Help
With all the hub hub about Mutilate a better dps build I am trying to switch from Combat which I have been for all of my PvE raiding life. But when hitting the boss test dummy I am just no where near what I can achieve with Combat on the same test dummie.
With combat I was getting in excess of 1500 dps but with mutilate I am only getting 900dps on recount. The only thing I changed out was [Reaper of Dark Souls] [Fang of Truth] for two [Librarian's Paper Cutter] keeping the same Greater Potency enchants on them.
Mut spec is 51/13/7 and spreadsheet says IP on MH and DP on OH and 4178.19 DPS. My spell rotation is HFBx3 while in stealth, come out of Stealth with a Garrote then the following.
SnD
Mutilate to 5 CP then
Rupture if no need to refresh SnD with Envenom (cold blood before Envenom if possible)
Envenom if Rupture still up and HFB doesnt need refresh
Keep HFB up all the time
Keep SnD up all the time
My stats are
Damage 417-418 (MH: 356.7dps) (OH: 267.6dps)
Speed 1.27/1.27
Att Pow: 3040
Hit Rating: 185
Crit Chance: 27.86%
Expertise: 12/12
I have SnD and Rupture Glyphs.
Am I doing something wrong, I have read up on this and I know my hit rating is a bit low and expertise but surely that would not make a reduction in dps of 40%.
I would really appreciate some experienced mutilate rogues giving me some advice, this is frustrating as I really want to try a mutliate build but I know I am not getting what I should out of it.

For a while various hunters said BM would be bad during BC because pets scaled poorly. They were wrong.
The changes affect BM dps far more than marks or SV. In fact, using aimed shot, SV closes the gap significantly between it and the highest dps spec, and could possibly match or even end up top dps but it all depends on the coefficient ExS was buffed to.
Before the changes, hunters were theoretically capable of ~6.8k sustained dps in best-in-slot as BM. The spreadsheet isn't perfect but it's fairly accurate. So, this 6.8k was much higher than almost all classes, and was still higher than FFB mages' theoretical max sustained dps.
Steady shot was insanely good when measured by both DPS and DPM. Blizzard reduced arcane shot's mana so now it's actually better than pre-nerf SS (DPM-wise). With the reduction in mana cost of arcane, aimed shot will be viable in many situations. All 3 specs can substitute those two shots (aimed only for SV) to get a major portion of the damage lost from the SS change, back.
If you're crying that the sky is falling, that hunters will be non-competitive with these changes, you need to get your head on straight. I suspect BM might take it to the knees a little harder than Blizzard intended, but the class as a whole will come out of this fine.
In closing, kindly STFU with the QQ or GTFO.

hokay, here's a question im still slightly iffy about, 2-3 talent points for 10-25 mans.
80 moonkin raiding spec planned
i dont think mana will be too much of an issue after raid buffs and such, so i thought the full 3 points in intensity would be a safe-spot . but from hearing the amount of AOE on some of these bosses, would it be better if i pu some points from intensity into owlkin frenzy? 10% flat dmg increase is nice, but how viable is it in boss raids?
i guess in summary, how good is Owlkin Frenzy for raiding?

I would like to make a bit clear the glyph discussion so i m gonna list the glyphs which benefit our dps ( the best ones ):
1) [Glyph of Bestial Wrath]
2) [Glyph of Hunter's Mark]
3) [Glyph of Serpent Sting]
4) [Glyph of Steady Shot]
5) [Glyph of Arcane Shot]
6) [Glyph of the Hawk]
7) [Glyph of the Beast]
8) [Glyph of Trueshot Aura](ofc this is only inteded for MM hunters but I thought of adding it cause its a must have for MM hunters)
So lets take em 1 by 1 :
1) With readiness not affecting BW anymore i think this glyph is a must for BM hunters.
2) A very good glyph imo which adds 60ap to all hunters that are in the raid (20% of 300base ap of hunter's mark)
I would like to know if this glyph stacks with the talent 'Improved Hunter's Mark' which i guess does but would like a verification. If this is true i guess the MM hunter in the raid should take this glyph for maxed out Hunter's Mark ap bonus.
And with the next patch i see more hunters switching to MM.
3) With the change on this glyph (+6sec duration of your serpent sting up from +3sec) i consider this a very good glyph since it gives u 4 more 'free' gcds
4) Enough have been said about this glyhp - must have no question about it
5) I have serious doupts that this glyph is worth it. A normal fight lasts around 6min so thats 60 arcane shots (max) so the mana benefit from this glyph would be 60x50mana(aprox-cant log in wow atm cause prepaid ended)=3000mana.
Now i dont rly know any precise way to measure what the dps gain is from 3000mana but if u think about how much time u need to 'waste' in order to gain that amount of mana in AotV, its about 10sec in which u suffer -50% dmg, and if u compare 10sec to 6min(360sec) its 2.8% of the time the fight lasts. and considering that we will do say 65% of our total dmg after the patch (rest 35% from pet-which isnt affected from AotV 50% reduction) its a 1.8% dmg bonus overall.
6) For this one i cant rly go so deep in theorycraft and math so ill let u guys do it. Tho by the looks of it - and since haste benefits hunters so little, it doesnt seems convincing to make it to the top 3 glyphs
7) Imo with the upcoming nerfs on our pets, the usage of AotB while BW is up will not be a dps boost and we will keep using AotD - so i think this glyph is useless for us after patch comes live ( would like some more theorycraft about using AotB during BW with the upcoming changes)
So to sum it all up - for me the top 3 glyphs are :
1) [Glyph of Bestial Wrath]
3) [Glyph of Serpent Sting]
4) [Glyph of Steady Shot]
And since i think the best combo is 1BM(or more hihi :P) and 1MM hunter in the raid after the patch ill list the glyphs i, as a BM hunter, would like the MM hunter to have:
2) [Glyph of Hunter's Mark]
4) [Glyph of Steady Shot]
8) [Glyph of Trueshot Aura]
Would like your comments about all the glyphs and your top 3 grlyphs (which ull propably use after patch)
PS: yay on my first post in the forums
Edit: As Robobobr said just below me the trueshot glyph isnt what i thought it is so im not quite sure if its good enough for MM and i dont rly care as a BM hunter if the MM hunter will or will not have it :P

Ok i didn't see the change they did at that glyph - so sry for that. I suppose tho from some posts i have seen that MM hunters have aimed shot in their rotations so it could still be a glyph they want to have

build Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
glyphs: ms, ww, hamstring
i'll fix gear in this order:
Trinket of lol from WG, 15 marks.
Deadly Boots (for run enchant mostly), 62k honor
Deadly Belt (because my belt sucks for pvp), 62k honor
arena gear:
i need the setbonus asap for 15 sec intercept, but i wont buy Hateful gear for arena points, just 25man badges.
SO!
Got legs form WG. that one.
buying shoulders, hateful ones , 30 badges 25man. that's two.
buying gloves, Blue ones, 30 lol-badges. Thats three itams.
Buying Chest, blue one, 45 lol-badges. Thats 4!
Then buying head item, Deadly, when i got Arena points for it.
Then im upgrading the other stuff like wrists, back, neck, movementtrinket when i get the honor.
Use my build, get 4 part, and play with a holy paladin. this will be the FOTM way to play warrior in 2s.
cheers.
