Rotation challenge for dps maximization
i dunno if this is just my server or what because i havent seen this rotation used on any forums.
i was wondering what is the optimal rotation for enhance shaman
one rotation:
FS-SS-LL-and if malestrom isnt up LB
basically u repeat this throwing in Chain Lightning when malestrom is up and LB wen SS and LL are on CD
rotation two:
the standard ES rotation we all know.
also i was wondering would this be a matter of glyphs or something

this is usually my spec wen raidin/quest but open to alterations
i was wondering if maybe the simulator could shed some light on whether the Lava Burst or Earth Shock rotation was best and what was the optimal spec for raid dps.
Also im curious if Static Shock is good or not.

That is great news. I had not been back on the PTR to retest this myself, but I shamelessly used your data to post a new bug on the PTR forum stating either a broken mechanic for AP from enchants or a tooltip verbiage issue.

try this DK DW tanking spec
i would like to share my Dk DW tanking build you guys this is 1 i came up with u get increased resistances and longer duration on IBF while not picking up icy talons / imp Icy talons to reduce ur change to be parry gibbed. ive seen alot of people try and make builds that i just didnt understand what they where doing.
if ur unsure on a AoE rotation try this.
place a death anbd decay before u pull.
Icy touch, Plague Strike, Pestiliance, Blood Boil, Howling blast,
if u lose AoE aggro pop Hungering Cold and hit Death Chill then smack ur middle target with Howling Blast

Unless I am mistaken, AP doesn't scale with anything other that white swings. All of the spells/abilities are based on raw STR.
I too have questioned taking AM over TS, but it has been proven (mathematically) on this thread that TS>AM, unless no-one else is providing that raid buff. That is the only way that would be viable. Otherwise, TS wins hands down.

And what does strength do? Gives you attack power. The key difference between the two is that strength is scaled up by raid buffs like kings and various talents making it the more desired stat in pretty much every scenario.

Also talking on threat your iMangle does about 3% threat for 3 talent points. If you want to let threat go remove those 3 as well.
I don't know what you tank normally, but a high amount of threat is very nice when you are swiping packs and there are a lot of people aoe-ing.
Also you need all the threat you can get on Malygos (At times the rest of the raid does 200% damage = 200% threat of normal). I have seen some overagro's on that one.
At the moment you have a lot of talents not really needed or usable in tanking.
Primal tenacity is more of a pvp stat then pve. Predatory Instincts has no effect. I seldom use Demoralising Roar which makes Feral Aggression not that good either. I don't know how Infected wounds would work on raidbosses. I don't use it. Found this:

The attack-slowing effect works on bosses which aren't immune to disease.
|
So it will effect some bosses but not all making this talent not that good either.
The best pure tanking build I can think of is the following:
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
The one point in shredding attacks is an extra point that I don't really know how to place.

Yah I assumed that Predatory Instincts worked in bear too. Now that I read it again, it really only implies cat. Yah totally bone headed the whole post I made.
Is it just me or does it seem that if you wanted to purely bear tank that are talents dont seem distributed correctly?

amazing ui. will definately be stealing a few ideas from this! What are you using to show the aura and buttons cooldowns? a modifed omnicc or is there an option within omnicc that allows you to reposition?

I'm at a lost of words for Ele at this point. After Sunwell, it went all down hill. My question about rotations, is that, is it my rotation that I use, my gear or is it ele that makes me almost last every single time on the Dps chart? I mean my guild is top server, so its a competition for the top spot.
My Armory: The World of Warcraft Armory
I run a pretty standard rotation with the FS Glyph that doesn't becomed Consume, the rotation goes:
FS, LvB, CL, LB until LvB is up, LvB, CL, LB until... etc Renewing FS right before the third LvB.
Sorry if this is the wrong place, my question has mostly to do with rotations but yes, thanks for the future help.
