Quick question, for lvl 70 post 3.0 patch mutilate raiding: which two season weapons are best?
I was thinking Shanker in MH and Shiv in OH...not using the mutilater. Do you guys agree with this?
I have searched and cannot really find the answer. I did find that Shiv in the OH is good because mutilate now wants a fast OH! However for the MH hand consideration...which one would be better?
Regards!

Hey guys, I'm still a little confused about Ruthlessness...
So Ruth proccing + a Mutilate crit is 4CP. Then finisher, which looking at Mutilate which crits a hell of a lot, is going to happen a lot.
But comparing that without Ruth, which instead you are always using 2 Mutilates then a finisher regardless of combo points and crits, is always going to range from 4-6CP
Why do we need both Ruthlessness and SF, when having only one of them pretty much does the job?
As an example, with only Ruthlessness and no SF if it procs, you Mutilate twice and have 5CP, if it doesn't you still Mut twice and have 4CP, and
without Ruth, but with SF you Mut twice regardless and its always a guaranteed (4-6CP)
What I'm trying to understand right now is why have both? That risks a ruth proc (1CP) then a mut crit (4CP) a lot more.
Is not using Mutilate twice then finisher that much more valuable? Yes, I know that it does save energy since you lose less energy but gain more combo points, but that seems like it kind of makes the entire rotation just very "chance" based, especially when Mut's already sort of like that, why make it even more chaotic?

what about this build in level 70?
I will test this build today!
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
But I have some doubts about mana efficiency and rotation.
Rotation:
SS --> Steady x 8 --> chim --> steady x 8 ---> chim

in need of mage help
Im not exactly sure but my dps on my mage seems to shift a lot like one week my am hit for 1400 to 1800 a pop. Like this week I went to za and a few other raids over a weeks time and both ab and am were hitting very low like 700 to 800 range on am and like 1500 to 2000 range with ab. When a month back ab are hitting from 3.5k to 5.5k and poping trinkets icey veins am hits for 1.8k to 2.0k . I am arcane icey veins spec my rotation is x3 ab x1am then a frostbolt. I am sitting at 1184 bonus damage 24.97crit and hit is at 163. Im curious why such a dip in my dps recently. I just dont get why it would have changed so much when i really havent changed anything and i normally top the charts. My last mh run I topped the charts at 3.4k dps. I have played all specs and have the 2t5 bonus I like being arcane. Well anyways can someone with some extensive knowledge take a look at my toon and make any suggestions.

Our real holy tree will be in the bear box!
I'm not really sure what this has to do with Class mechanics in WotLK?

Is there any reason for having a slow MH anymore as combat? Since we're going to be using shiv rather than SS.
So should I be socketing AP over AGI?

I have most of my spec and stuff figured out for 2day. Only thing im confused on is which Gems to Use. It seems to be the only thing we cant all agree on. So the real question is AP Vs AGL. for red sockets. Using Glinting for Yellow, Agi + Stam for blue.

From what I've read, enhancement wants to gem for hit until they reach spell hit cap(17%) then agi?

Okay, and from personal tests WF/FT is out dpsing WF/WF. Is this the general concensus?

From what i have simed the Diff is small. WF/FT and WF/WF are about the same. at lvl 80 in full raid gear that might be diff.

Could anyone recommend a spec for PVE dps at 70? Having a hard time keeping up with the latest shizzle since I'm doing my mandatory army service now and don't have that much free time due to that:p
Survival or Marks rather, been BM for so long it hurts.

For 3.0 though there are many times in heroics and raids that I've been able to spend my rage much faster than I would like (ofc no threat issues but I just want boatloads of rage all the time )
Also for heroics I really like the stun from imp revenge, its handy and entertaining.
Same with Warbringer/imp charge, If you actively look for ways to make it useful (intervene a partymember instantly charge back to mob). You'd prolly end up like me and consider them practically mandatory. By that I mean it's one of those talents that once you get used to it, not having it around feels almost crippling (sure I could intercept like i used to, but i lose rage when i do that so why would i ever want to )
To each their own, I prefer imp revenge and imp charge. Some prefer imp SR, some can't live without cruelty..
On a side note:
Has anyone run dps numbers on imp tclap for an arms build?
Considering its an unlimited aoe dealing mediocre damage would it get a spot in an aoe pull rotation?

Excellent Question. I don't know
