Is RAWR the be all end all ?

I was playing around with Rawr for my Ret Pally and noticed that it has leather boots from kara higher than plate boots from SSC. (at work so I cant look them up right now).

So I was wondering. Is Rawr God? Do you follow it to the letter ?

Some things just don't make sense. For example, for Rogues, the Druid S4 bracers are better for PvE DPS than the badge bracers. Who would've guessed?
