With WotLK impending, this felt appropriate: Having been a lurker and occasional poster on these forums for some years now, I would like to extend my thanks to those who thanklessly moderate these forums.

I suspect that I am not alone in checking out the Banhammer section to see the latest infractions and the complaints about the `brutal` regime that the moderators enforce. All that I can say in reply is that this one of the friendliest, most fact-oriented and reasonable forums that it has ever been my pleasure to work with. All thanks to the moderators, who deal with toxic waste and personal abuse on a day-to-day basis.

No irony is intended. No currying-of-favour. No sarcasm. This is an honest `thank you`.

Are you trying to get in the /b/anhammer?

Having said that, I think the mods know that their work is appreciated, and that's why these forums are so popular. I appreciate the topic and sentiment, but don't really need a meme thread.
