I have been an enhancement shaman all of BC, before that i played a Fury Warrior and never got passed BWL. My shaman went up to Felmyst pre-nerf, and cleared it after 3.0. Now ive begun to level up(almost 75) and ive started to notice how we are shaping up for Wrath.

Im very depressed that Death Knights have every benefit to a raid that we carry. The only competition is Bloodlust, and i can consider that cancelled out with Hysteria.

Are raidleaders having any plans to bring enhancers along? I personally am not seeing any reason to currently.

Every spec can be replaced with another spec. This is the entire point of the buff consolidation change: so you don't have to depend on a particular player logging in to raid.

This, and also I'll repeat something I've posted on various forums over the past 4 years:

If your raid spot is dependent on your race/class/spec, then you need to find a new guild. Raid leaders and guild mates should want you in a raid because you are (a) a good person, and (b) a good player (I personally weigh each 50/50, though of course some guilds/leaders may stress one over the other). In my experience, the vast majority of the times I've seen someone get sat because of class/spec, it's because that person is just not liked or not good, and the class/spec is used as an excuse because it's a lot easier to tell someone they can't come because of that than to tell them they are not liked or they suck at the game.

The only DK spec that can cover both unleashed rage and imp windfury is a blood/frost hybrid build (blood down through Abom's Might, frost down through Frost Strike/Might of Mograine). There aren't many people interested in playing it and there hasn't been much theorycraft done on it. On the rare occasion that someone is talking about a blood/froststrike build, they're talking about skipping Abom's Might for Bloody Vengeance.

I haven't seen numbers, but I'd expect an enh shaman to out-DPS a blood/froststrike DK with Abom's Might. Getting pushed out of raids is a concern for most DPS builds right now, but if guilds stop bringing enh shamans it's not going to be because of one solitary DK.

nah there will be multiple death knights, and my guilds hunters cover the need for unleashed rage/aboms might anyhow.

thats just the issue i guess is my dps compared to other death knights. hopefully that can even out and show skill over class...

This thread sucks, it's just a whine disguised as a thread. There's no really "unique" specs anymore. If your enhancement shaman is on vacation for a week, you aren't boned because you can get his buffs covered from other areas.
