You do not need any CD's to survive non-disciple or twilight tormented breaths. Using the trick where you stop auto attacking and melee to briefly cancel twilight torment I haven't needed help cool down wise using a unholy spec with lich borne and AMZ the past couple weeks. I obviously could be lucky in when sarth decided to breath but I'm quite satisfied with the build. I'll definitely be seeing how blood does in a week or two.

I can't remember my health, but it's quite alot, seeing if I use Vampric Blood, I have 51k Health raid buffed ( Not counting sarth ), anyway heres a recap of what I do:

First of all, I am Blood Specced, I used this spec, not just for Sartharion, but for evreything.

Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
Using Obliterate, Vamp Blood and D&D Glyphs

We do a 5.5 Healer setup with 3 tanks and rest DPS. We burn Tenebron down with NO cooldowns. We use our Bloodlust for after the AoE when we are on Shadron, ready to nuke him.

After Vesperons Acolyte is up, we let our 2 holy paladins use a Divine Shield Rotation that reduces raid damage by 30%, if I see I have this buff, and theres a Fire Breath, I don't use any Cooldowns. ( Usually lasts only 12 seconds, because the other pally is usually too far ), then I use #1. Anti Magic Shield, #2 Icebound Fortitude, #3 I use Vampiric Blood and Nightmare Seed ( Yes this actually works! ), from this point I must get a shield for the breaths ( dont need for disicpwin priest ), this CD is up for 2 CDs atleast, as it lasts for 30 seconds, 15% health +2k. After this I use Anti Magic Shield again and Icebound Fortitude, but Shadron should be dead long by then, remember you can always ask for a Guardian Spirit in case you fuck up with cooldowns. And after Shadron, You can't lose unles you do something horribly wrong. ( Our case it's Firewalls and Fissures :P )

I will make a video of this today.

Quartz cast bar available on curse allows you to set target and focus cast bars. Your healers should have quartz if they take their job seriously.

Didn't the bug that allowed you to stop attacking to cancel torment get fixed?

Tanking Sarth 3d

First of all, thanks for the site and everyones input, its been very helpful thus far. That being said, can we get something definative as far maximum build for mitigation? My guild will attempt progression this week on 3d, and i have the MT spot. I usually spec deep frost, which has been great so far, I have MT'd all the content except Heroic Malygos and OS3D. It seems that my usual spec will not be viable in this circumstance so I am going to spec specific to this encounter. Working a couple trees I came up with Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft, I put the point in pale horse just because i had an extra and wanted to try it out. I put extra points in the unholy tree because i am going for maximum stam. The question i have is would it be better to take the points out and go into frigid dreadplate? Stam is the area i could use the most help in, since i am not a JC. but i cant seem to work out which is more important for this specific boss encounter, He has strong melee hits last phase so im assuming my avoidance would be worth more, but for the breaths which is my focus point, stam would be the best benefit, correct me if im wrong. Any input here would be appreciated and ill let you all know how it goes.

I wasn't aware of a fix either in this patch or previous but it was working just fine this Monday I believe.

I know I wiped our raid in one attempt last night trying it. Luckily our drake tank died at the same time so blame was shifted away from me.

I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying.
