So I wanted to start this off by saying yes, I know this macro doesn’t give out the best DPS, and that a macro can’t really do that. However, I just want to add that it took me a long time to speak up about this, but to keep it simple I’m handicapped in a couple of ways, and clicking through a lot of buttons causes me a lot of problems…

In order to be able to move and react as best I can in raids I’ve reduced my casting sequence to a macro. I then use the keyboard to move as I must and click this button when I’m holding still. Simple.

What I’m basically asking here is if some of you might help me steamline this to make it better. I know my Flame Shock lasts longer then the baseline because of my set bonus, but this is as long as I can make the second macro, and I want to avoid using add-ons to lengthen my macro size.

I would also like to point out that if none of you have any suggestions then maybe some of the other handicapped people like myself might be able to use it… So far I’ve been pretty successful in hiding my disabilities from the people I raid or PUG with, but a few of my guildies are aware of my problems. Basically, I figured that the elite folks over here at EJ could help me weed out any problems I might be having.

The macro tends to average about 3.6k dps on the raid boss dummy in IF, as CL doesn’t hit anything else there, and I’ve done those tests without anybody else around and it’s worked for me, but I’ve also seen lesser geared Shamans doing more damage then me, and I’m hoping some of you can help me improve my game, limited as it might be.

Also, and I’m sure it won’t happen, but please no flaming me for relying on macros, please. Regardless of what some people think, there are players out there that rely heavily on them. With the changes to /castrandom I can no longer set up a priority system using a series of macros, so this is the best I can do.

Oh I also wanted to add, that if anybody is looking at my gear and spec, I was testing out a build that let me get the Improved Fire Nova from 3.3, but I'm not sure how loosing that glyph slot is going to nerf my dps.
