I wanted to veer from the epeen contest that the last "Patchwerk DM" post turned into, for a more serious question. Do any rogues out there suffer from lower crit rates on Patch? My gear is in my sig, but basically I am sitting at 4 piece Bonescythe with AQR/Iblis combo (human). My sinister strike crit rate barely raises above 20-22%. My white crit is where it should be, 33-35%, but for some reason my sinister's struggle.

When I crit where I should be, I am hitting 800 dps. More so then not, they aren't critting and I am stuck at 715ish.

Anyone else seen this happen?

The crit rate on signing your posts is pretty high.

Are you suggesting that there's a crazy conspiracy to reduce rogues crit rates on Patchwerk, or is this thread about you being sad that your randomly generated numbers were lower than they should be on average?

a little of both? wanted to see if other rogues had faced the same? Our dagger rogues were seeing lower backstab rates as well or I wouldn't be proposing it.

I don't think Faerie Fire increases crit rate all that much. Just a hunch.

100 dps increase with FF on seems kind of large. I'll compare next run of when its kept on the whole fight.

this definitely explains why my white crit rate is where it should be while my sinister crit rate is lower than normal. Thanks for the clarification! :)
