Is Magic Attunement a big benefits to tankers?

Magic attunement (maeg talent) 2/2 gives 50% bonus on dampen and amplify magic. so it is like 75 on dampen magic.

Do u guys (tankers) feel benefit a lot with that? or that just help a bit? esp on sapphion's fight.

Our tanker is so nervous and wants 2+ mages to have this talent. However, as a fire mage, I will need to sacrifice talents in fire tree to get that. Advice pls?

I don't think we have a single mage with this talent. So while it may help, it's certainly not required.

Its an ok talent, but not worth giving up important stuff for it.
(we have a 28 arcane 23 frost mage with it and thats it i believe)

And your MT will want amplify magic not dampen, even on sapphiron...
the aura isnt affect by thoses 2 spells so amplify on the entire raid :)

Yeah, we all use amplify on sapphiron. The aura doesn't appear to be amplified by it like you'd think it would be.
