Hateful Strike = Spell?

Use: Increases the chance that the player will reflect hostile spells cast on them by 3% for 2 hrs. Will automatically reflect the first offensive spell cast against the user. Only one type of Zanza potion may be active at any given time.

Has this been tried by anyone? Its definately some sort of "spell" (see: http://www.thottbot.com/?sp=28308)
Assuming he Hateful Strikes approx 350 times in a fight, and this actually works vs them, its an added ~300,000 damage mitigated by his armor. Also increases "avoidance" chance by 3% obivously.
Aggro would probably become an issue and might screw things up in other ways.

Highly unlikely. Otherwise all sorts of melee attacks would be reflectable.

Yeah, I assumed not, but HS seems special, unlike most other physical abilities.

Make sure you have a Warlock putting Tongues on, as well.

Not especially. How is it different from any other physical ability?

Not many other abilities are "primed" or physical abilities which don't work on regular threat or something like a AE cleave.

I fail to see how its manner of targeting makes it spell-like in any way. It certainly makes it a unique ability, but it in no way makes it different in fundamental functionality from a Mortal Strike or an Unbalancing Strike etc. It can miss, it can be blocked, parried, or dodged; it doesn't get resisted. How is that spell-like at all?

The aboms cleave is a spell with a cast time, but it is a physical one that can be dodged/parried. Didn't Hateful Strike used to be a spell at first? It didn't remove the parry buff from 8 piece T2 warriors until they changed it.

Wasnt there a zanar reflector that reflected nature spells? I thought for about a week or so guilds were downing huhu because the absorbers all just poped the reflectors.
