Is this what they did, or is the change slightly more widespread?

We killed it tonight, but it was hitting the OTs for a lot more on average then previous weeks. 7pc DN tanks taking repeated 9k HS's with full buffs and pots. Makes no sense, and it was a monster task to accomplish.
Good news is, 4 trees can heal MT so easy.

He did 5.5k average HSs on our tanks on our kill, 8.6k highest, this with the warlock debuff. No other changes, but it was far easier than expected, MT healing is trivial with stacking HoTs and with 5% increased miss chance from Scorpid Sting, the overall damage taken by our HS sponges was significantly lower than on previous weeks.

Did you eyeball the damage, or is there a specific mod that tracks min/max/avg HS hits on each tank?

Not sure about how aarkh's guild does it, but we usually get the information from the tanks themselves. I think there are few tanks that don't have a special combat log for damage taken (and optionally healing received).

Clearly someone doesn't understand how EH works. That, or upgrading from T8 to T9 is optional in beating Arthas. Clearly.

No warlock debuff, but miss rate debuff from Scorpid, we saw average HSes of 7k on our tanks, maxes in the 10-11k range. This was around 11 PM EST on Wednesday.
edit: Data from a post-raid parse of combat logs by WowWebStats.

Did you really mean Wednesday? If so, that's before the hotfix was applied.
