Personally i just hate Dual Wielding bosses, Romulo does the same thing, if i've gone down you can be sure that my combat log will read:

You gain Shield Block.
Romulo's Deadly Swathe hits you for 2kish(430 blocked).
Romulo hits you for 2kish(430 blocked). <- offhand attack
Shield Block fades from you.
Romulo gains Daring.
Romulo hits you for 7kish Crushing.
You are afflicted by Poison.
Romulo's Poison Thrust hits you for 3kish.
You die.
Romulo's Daring is removed by Spellsteal.
Romulo Spits on your worthless corpse before calling you a 'Stupid boooooooy' in a foppish accent.

Just want to interject real quick, I have a bug where Styleens scarab not only doesnt apply to my stats when I die or zone a lot, but applies a negative value to my stats.

I unequip it, and my values go up to where I would be with it not equipped, and go up from there when actually equipped. I know that one night I forgot to do this on Moroes ( back when I hovered near the crit cap ) after an unlucky healer death\wipe and he was hitting me incredibly hard. Just something to be aware of those of us who still use that trinket.

I mentioned earlier in the thread that nightbane crit me, and since then in a Kara clear ( I tanked every boss ) and Maulgar, zero crits. It seems like it always was, once youre in the crit immune range you just have a sub .25% chance or something to be crit, exacerbated by not having shield block up.

Not my def rating, Khazgull's. But you have a point there, he mentioned he tailored his gear to exactly 490 def for the test, perhaps that could be the source of this issue. He'll probably think we're just being disgracefully pedantic about this now, but we shall see.
