I think the fact that it didn't get a single upgrade from 61-70 might've been enough of a hint that, really, it does well and truly suck.

Is TF useful to restos in, say, the Leo fight, wearing Moonglade set, and catform DPSing? Does rake help too?

Given that claw/rake/TF is useless to ferals, it'd at least be reassuring that they're useful to SOMEONE. Throw in the fact that maim/FB are mostly-useless against non-trash (true, they have some PVP use), and it saddens me that if they changed some abilities they could make catform a lot more dynamic. Buff TF to be useful when you're at 5 CP and tons of energy but your last rip hasn't finished ticking; buff rake to be useful as, say, a 5th combo point before starting the next cycle; even a use for claw by non-ferals would add some flexibility to an otherwise relatively boring form, and upping its DPS at least at the top-end wouldn't be a bad thing, either. The only thing holding that back is if those abilities need be non-scaling for times when restos have to DPS.

Most Resto Druids find it easier to throw on a bit of spell dmg gear, which has better synergy for healing, and spam wrath. Since Inner Demons take extra damage from Nature (and Holy and Arcane, I believe?), it's much faster than trying to use gimped kitty abilities in healing gear.

This is how our restos do it. When I first went to leo I was slightly undergeared and thanks to a string of unlucky parries and misses I failed to kill my demon. However, my stats were still vastly superior to those a resto would have in moonglade. Not to mention they would lack Mangle.

Sadly these skills are just of no use or very limited use to us ferals. I am not really complaining about it myself though. Currently I am happy with where my feral is. Looking at all the complaining a few months back I think blizzard actually did a good job in balancing ferals. Our DPS scaling is an issue, but I still feel I justify my place in a raid by being able to offtank, battlerez and innervate. Plus my DPS is not THAT bad =).

Get a S2 mace and you will splatter your demon. I sit there hoping for a demon, because every time I get one its less likely I have to waste 15 seconds killing a prot tank. I do it with 10s to spare, and get back to pounding Leo.

5/5 to imp wrath help a lot. Also switch MH OH and use spell dmg oil on the MH. 1 Moonfire and then wrath spam. At least thats how i did it

Just suffice to say I had problems with my demon as I focused on my tanking gear. I played a rogue for 2 years so I was bored of being just a DPs. However many fights show the importance that you keep your DPS gear up to par also. So don't slack and don't be shy to go for an upgrade.

Oke Was reading This a bit but never followed this forum at all (will now this is intresting sh*t). But we have this big discision in ower feral druid part of the guild about tanking. What's the best to do? High armour HP and drop dodge a bit more random it out get more then the 415 def and so on. Now there have been a lot of post here and been reading all day and haven't found anything about it yet. Can you ppl help me?

The big question is: What's best for a feral druid tank? Def higher then 415 and let your stats/hp suffer under it or not?

The thread you're looking for probably is the bear tank item comparisons thread.

In general, the best items for the ones that are most "balanced"-- items that have significant amounts of Armor, Agility, and Stamina combined. You don't want to have to go over the crit reduction cap with defense, because druids don't get any value from the increases in parry/block that defense has. So, once you reach crit immunity, stop focusing on defense. (If you're in Clefthoof, take into account the fact that one day you'll want to get rid of it and still be crit immune-- what will be valuable to you then?)
