This fight's getting fixed next patch such that the tank won't be repentanced any more.... should make for an easier fight overall as there's less damage on the tank and no chance maiden will take off running for the paladin who BoS'd out of the repentance.

We've had similar problems. We've found the best solution is to have the tank with his back to the paladin, so that the tank is between the pally and Maiden. That way, Maiden has to clip through the tank to get to the paladin, giving more chances for consecrate to break the repentance.

I think that answers your question. Obviously if you have a feral tank/prot pala then you need to do it the way Shade said.

Your tank needs Improved Shield Block. Those talent points alone will probably make more of a difference than all other changes combined. Other people might want to consider making slight compromises in their specs - you can have a pvp spec that functions adequately in pve, or you can go the extra mile and gain a tiny pvp edge by giving up huge amounts of pve utility. This isn't always wise. One example that springs to mind is your Shadow priest not having Improved Power Word: Fortitude (Absolution instead? Really?). Little things like that help. The last thing I would suggest is using KTM to fix your threat issues. It's a crutch, but it makes pulling aggro literally impossible, completely wiping out one of your obstacles to success.

Just pay for the main taks respec to full prot every time - as has been said, its 10 g each, which is nothing. noone else needs to spec pve for khara - Having all feral/enhance/shadow healers would be dubious, but you are merely running with PvP(healing) specs which is more than close enough

We had issues with a layout like:

(M)(T)----(P) (Maiden, Tank with a gap to Paladin) because then as the Maiden moves to the Paladin she clips through the tank and gives him facing errors, we eventually went with a more side-on approach:

(M)
(T)---(P)

This puts Maiden a little closer to the paladin, but any reasonably-geared paladin (I run 7k completely unbuffed in pure healing gear) shouldn't be one-shot material even after the 2k repentance hit, you just need to keep yourself topped up - if you're dying quite a bit use Sac rank 1 instead of rank 4, the damage ticks of BoSac add up to quite a bit over time.

Also, I believe any hostile action, even refreshing demo/commanding shout, will turn Maiden back to you (with that, it's hard to understand why the warrior last night was having issues, maybe he was trying to sunder/slam her).

edit: to the best of my knowledge, Shade, the same Holy Ground tick that breaks the paladin out of Repentance also breaks the tank out of Repentance (since without damage on the tank the paladin wouldn't take damage), it's simply a matter of blizzard's combat logic deciding that the paladin broke 'first' (we're talking microseconds here) and Maiden switching aggro to the paladin (for some reason, ground ticks, it hits the tank, BoSac transfers some damage to the paladin, paladin takes damage, paladin breaks repentance, maiden switches aggro, then the tank breaks repentance after that).
In practical terms, as soon as the aggro switches to the paladin the tank should be able to get it back (excepting gcd issues) because they're breaking at the same time. All that putting the tank between Maiden and the paladin accomplishes is to make maiden have to take one more step to reach the paladin.

Assuming your Destro Lock has Nether Prot he should help make Illhoof an easier encounter in a role of Imp Control.

Certainly one spec that can have a decided advantage if only for one situation.

If you proc Nether Prot while controlling the little imps, they will stop attacking you and go to their 2nd highest threat target until it wears off and you hit them again. This is generally not advisable.

It depends, it's basically a trade-off of sorts. A warlock with Nether Protection will on average have less imps up as he can cast Seed of Corruption faster due to Nether Protection, while with a Warlock without Nether Protection you can generally count on all the imps attacking the same person but there are more imps up.

The above both relying on Seed of Corruption, I haven't got much experience with other tactics for dealing with the imps, though I've heard of some people using Hellfire instead.
