Curse of Exhaustion

This is a rather basic question lacking in the crunch this site does so well, but I have been unable to find any use at all for CoEx in PVE. Is there any meaningful instance activity that warrants keeping it?

I have done some analysis on Suppression and concluded it contributes over 4 DPS / talent point for my (afflock) spec and plan to dump CoEx.

It can be used pretty effectively in 5mans, you can fear and snare to CC things in a much smaller space. Raiding I don't think I've found a noteworthy mob not immune to it, which makes it a pretty solid waste in that setting. For 1 point it brings a substantial ammount of utility outside of raids, but that may not be enough for you.

at best, you could use it to kite some mobs in heroics.

I haven't found a single use for curse of exhaustion in 25 man raiding. However in kara, heroics/5mans, pvp and soloing really big monsters I love it.

Heroic blood furnace those final felguards are soloable with coex. I've killed 3 mobs solo in heroic slave pens due to the awesomeness that is coex.

If you are pretty much purely raiding then you can drop coex but it has plenty of fun uses outside of raiding.

its godly in PVP, especially in combination with the gnome racial. also good for kiting in PVE, though we don't get to do that often enough. it really shines, though, with controlling fear. throw it up to limit a feared mob's range, throw up rank 1 CoR to bring it back, then knock CoR off with it for great justice.

Don't laugh, but Big Bad Wolf? He's immune to SOME snares, but not all (Mind Flay and Piercing Howl seem to slow him down, but not hamstring/crippling poison).

I know he's not TERRIBLY noteworthy, but just in the interest of completeness if someone wants to try it.

Curse of Exhaustion can be used on mobs that need to be fearkited in SSC and TK if you're short on mages. Though it's not a noteworthy talent, there are minute uses for it in 25 man raiding, the best instance of which is Legionnaires in TK, without CoEx they run too quickly to be reliably refeared.
