Looking for some info from anyone who has taken the time to crunch the numbers on different weapon buffs and how they relate to overall dps after 2.1. From reading various posts here and there the general concensus seems to be that WF will still be the preferred OH buff after the patch even with the 3 second cooldown in effect. To me it seems something like RB would be preferred since you are guaranteed all your WF procs will be MH even though you will have less procs. Has anyone done the math that proves what is best?

Offhand talented rockbiter does comparable DPS to talented flametongue/frostbrand except that it's mitigated by armor. Rockbiter should never be used offhand, period.

Windfury wins offhand in both theorycraft and testing, simply because it scales.

The math has been done to death at this point. WF 5/5 is still king due to scaling, even with the linked cooldown.

Hopefully someone can link the math, but at this point it's basically common knowledge.
