[Warrior-Tank] Personal Item Values?

When I judge an item, it definitely clashes with Blizzard's designated item values. I was wondering if anyone has really sat down and created an item value equivalence that's practical. I guess what I'm after is a personal view of stat ratios, like 5str = 1stam = 2agi = .5 defense rating = .5 dodge rating = .75 parry rating = 2 shield block rating = .5 hit rating = 2 crit rating = 10ap. Obviously these numbers are rough and aren't my person opinion, I just wanted to be clear what I was after.

A "dressing room" program would be more like the WoW Model Viewer (http://www.wowmodelviewer.org/). The title got me confused, I think you are looking for a charplanner.

I used the merciless charplaner (http://www.merciless-gilde.com/charplaner/?show=planer) a lot, but it is discontinued since BC. CT-Profiles was also completely useless at that time, because it had no Gems for, what, 3 Months? It is still horribly unfriendly for anything but showing off the gear you already have.

It's sad.

Hmm, thanks for the response! I have WowEquip, which was also discontinued or hasn't been updated since pre-BC =(

The reason i'm linking that is not so you use those, it's simply to demonstrate a site that does the grunt work for you, so you can tweak the values to your heart's content

Its not so simple; stamina > all until you can surive any burst from a particular enemy, after that, is where the 'debate' begins.

[Tank] Equilibrium Point Between Avoidance and Stam for a quick rundown, also on the second page of this forum is a threat per second thread.

in all honesty tanking as been set up more as an art than a science, since the specific values "required" change depending on the boss fight and how many hits it takes to kill you.

That is your rating. There are, however, important stats you've left out like shield block value and armor.

Don't know why you included Shield Block Rating in that list, it doesn't actually do anything to mitigate crushing blows, unless you can get your block, parry, miss and dodge above 87.5% when shield block isn't up(which is possible with current gear, but also gimps every other stat you have). Just gives you an extra chance to block, but it doesn't change your chance to take a crushing, which is always 15% when shield block isn't up.

You also didn't include shield block value either, which is a very key stat.
