[Paladin] Vengeance Uptime Math

I have been calculating Paladin Vengeance secured uptime and here is what I have managed to fetch up so far...

In total Paladins have following attacks: 3.9 AutoAttack + 1.5 CrusaderStrike + 1.7 SoC + 1.875 JoC = ~9 attacks during 15sec Vengeance time window that can refresh Vengeance. If calculating for only 10% change to not crit in that 15sec time window, (crit%needed/100)^attacks gives us 22.6% needed crit % to have only 10% change to not crit in that time. With Glancing Blows that would be 22.6% / 0.75 = 30% crit needed for raidboss to have only 10% change for not being able to refresh Vengeance during 15sec timer.

Am I doing something wrong? I didnt take JoC talented extra 15% crit change into account, just to stay on safe side, since it would only bring this needed crit down a bit.

It's a single hit table so as long as crits aren't being actively pushed off the table you can just calculate directly what your crit % is. Glancings are not a factor.

There's a post somewhere along these lines in the "retadin use in raids?" thread in the public discussion forum that you might find useful.

There's some discussion before and after about this. Starting at about post #576

Oh, damn. Thats good to know, explained a lot.

I reduce attacks to reflect worst case scenario: 3 AutoAttack + 1 CrusaderStrike + 1 SoC + 1 JoC = 6 attacks during 15sec Vengeance time window that can refresh Vengeance. If calculating for only 10% change to not crit in that 15sec time window, (crit%needed/100)^attacks gives us 31.9% needed crit to have only 10% change to not crit in that time.
