If anyone remembers when the Gladiator's offhand(nondaggers) were 1.8 speed, everyone that went combat fist picked up the Gladiator's Shiv claiming that the crit still applied to the OH dagger.

I may be going fists when season2 gear comes out, and I'm wondering since I wont have the points to get the OH when season2 first hits if it'd be worth it to get one of the faster daggers(sunblade/dirge comes to mind) for combat potency procs and all that business.

Of course that whole idea breaks if the crit doesn't actually apply to the offhand, so does anyone know for sure whether it does or does not?

This hasn't been true for a good long time now. How does this rumor still persist?

Most people who picked those up got them for extra CP procs, not because the crit still applied. That's why I'm offhanding a sunblade with my gladiator's MH fist. Probably change to the fist offhand for season two though if they're upgraded at all
