Warrior dps..

I play a warrior on Kargath, in the guild TFO. "Cathris"

When we go to raids my dps seems eratic. On Lurker the other night I was #1 dps, and then on another night I was around 7-8th. Then when we do gruul im barely in the top 10, along with alot of other fights in SSC. My gear isn't terrible, and it isn't anything special, the others that get higher then me are equally geared, or better so. My main attack 'routine' would be to Blood thirst, WW and then Heroic strike (Only ww if there was no adds CCed)

You can see my spec in the armory, I recently respecced to it since another warrior from a different guild tried to give me pointers. I was wondering if there was some special skill rotation I should use, or respec / find special items or get more AP/ Crit / Hit.. Just some pointers on what I should do to help my dps out. According to SW stats, (Outside of raids) I average 550 dps. I haven't looked at it during boss fights since im busy..

I looked at the both of them, and read most of the stuff posted. That doesn't mean however that they both relate to me

he one post with like 20 posts, I of course didn't get all the way through. I was reading about the Theorycraft from 2.1 and I would love if someone could give me some straight up, "proven" better things.. If there isn't such a thing I guess im just screwed..
I must be doing something wrong, cause I don't seem to have unlimited rage like in one of the posts, although I have no problem with it. Seemed like most of the people were getting higher on the dps charts, and I just wanted help as to what they were doing to get there.

I know they are long threads, but they are worth the read. If you can't find the "strategy" information you're looking for, try asking your question in one of them as opposed to creating a new thread specifically for yourself.

I'd check the other threads for DPS rotations and tips and whatnot.

As for your gear. Your AP is...abysmal. 1500 is the bare minimum, 1600 is decent and 1700 is good, unbuffed in battle stance.

Virtually every one of your sockets is +hit....i mean, hit is nice, but this is....over-board.

16 ap gem = crap. ALWAYS go with 8 str, as it benefits from blessings of kings.
Socket your helm for the +4 str bonus.
Replace your chest with doomplate, socket heavily for STR and put +6 to all stats on it. This will give you a nice boost to hit that will allow you to switch some of your +hit gems to STR as well.
Match socket colors on the bracers. 8 STR and 4str/6sta is my personal suggestion.
Your weapon enchants are on the wrong hands. Should be main-hand mongoose and 20 str off-hand.
Match socket colors on gloves. I suggest changing the first gem to a 4str/6sta
Match on the belt, 8 str and a 4 str/6sta
Match on the boots and pants....oye
I hope your riding crop is replaced by a bloodlust brooch when you DPS. Or failing that, an Icon of unyielding courage would be nice, so you can further reduce the amount of +hit gems on your gear.

Try to get a ring of 1000 marks to replace exorcist.

You have "I just dinged 70" caliber AP and crit, and epic levels of +hit....you need to balance this out better.

Just a quick comment about gem selection:

In any case where there is a blue socket required to achieve a +3 str, +3 hit or +3 crit stat bonus... don't socket for the stamina unless you're abysmally low on stamina. By ignoring the socket bonus and socketing for +4 str +4 crit, or any other combination of str/crit/hit, you get 1 more str/crit/hit than you would by socketing for the socket bonus and all you lose is stamina, which doesn't directly affect your dps in any way whatsoever.
