New values for the Malorne Harness
Helm
411 Armor
37 Strength
29 Agility
24 Stamina
15 Intellect
Yellow/Meta Gem (+4 agility socket bonus)
Shoulder
334 Armor
30 Strength
24 Agility
21 Stamina
6 Intellect
2x Blue Sockets (+3 crit socket bonus)
Chest
557 Armor
29 Strength
30 Agility
30 Stam
10 Int
Yellow, Blue, Red socket (+4 hit socket bonus)
Gloves
404 Armor
29 Strength
24 Stamina
9 Int
21 Crit Rating
Legs
558 Armor
38 Strength
28 Agility
33 Stamina
22 Intellect
So they've basically eliminated spirit and some intellect from the set in favor of extra armor and stamina. It lacks defense for crit reduction, although that is simple enough to get in other slots.
Also, there's a new item you can pick up with 60 Badges of Justice...
Cowl of Beastly Rage (Head Piece)
371 Armor
27 Strength
24 Agility
24 Stamina
18 Intellect
Yellow/Meta Gem sockets (+4 Strength socket bonus)

Odd that the Blue ring was changed but neither of the top 2 epics was.

Still crit rating?..
Please someone post and suggest it gets replaced with agi.. 21 agi instead of crit rating would make them damn tasty indeed. As it is, with more stam and 14agi vs a piddly 11 AC, Verdant gloves are still better for tanking..

Another break to the bear theme of this thread, but look at the new Ogri'la reward trinket:
Crystalforged Trinket
+7 weapon damage
Use: Increase attack power by 216
Thats an equivalent of 98 AP in cat form, 314 AP on use. Easily better than bloodlust brooch for dps.

Weapon damage on rings work for feral, so I can't see why a trinket wouldn't.
Afaik it's only weapon damage on weapons that don't work.

I am really happy with these changes truth be told. The gloves are the ONLY piece without agility. It is a feral set and it seems to me it covers that well. high armour, good DPS stats, good agility values on the other pieces... overall it should be very nice and definately viable to use as long as we can get our +defence from other slots.

Yeah. I'd say. Time for every last damn druid to go report that druids hate crit rating and want Agi and Hit rating instead.

Crunching the numbers, we come up with, yet again, another piece of trash loot that no one in their right mind would wear to dps or tank.
The crafted Cobrascale is better for dps, and the crafted stylin purple for tanking. Oh wait, since ferals have ZERO professions that they need primal nethers for, we can save the money from the crafted helm and use the heroic tokens for this piece of ______.
On the other hand, that Ogre Trinket +7 wpn dmg looks very VERY nice.

While nice, I don't know how much more useful this makes them until I try some gear setups. I was already wary of gimping threat and dodge too much by wearing full Clefthoof. I don't think that will change.
Bears need more choice in +def gear definitely. I'm disappointed they didn't spend at least a few points of the T4 budget on it.
On the upside, that's a serious buff to Thoriumweave Cloak

After crunching numbers last night, I think I'm going to end up using the Clefthoof boots over my Edgewalker Longboots (I prefer the dodge over the huge armor of Supple, as well as the hit, etc). The revised T4 is so incredibly nice, though, that I will actually break up the 2pc Wastewalker (gloves + chest) I'm currently using, and not worry so much about Skulker's Greaves not dropping AGAIN (10 kills so far).
It's a shame they didn't put 39 sta on Earthwarden as well, though. =)

Wow, that is a MASSIVE armour buff for bear form. Really wow. Definately a fair trade.
I think I have some gear I can offset the +def loss with nicely too, so without changing anything I will still be crit immune and just gain a bunch of armour while losing some hps. Worth it still, for sure.
I think this patch will be in testing for quite a long time but the first look I got today really makes me happy iwth how it will all pan out. Less consumeables needed, gear making a bigger difference, Flasks cheaper but with reduced effect, overall it looks very very good.
I also have to admit I am happy with the mangle change =) though I would have been fine with it as it was =).
The Malorne and Nordrassil changes also reflect that they listened to the druid community and I would say things look pretty bright!

Unless you have 3 pieces of the Malorne set to begin with. Then it makes total sense to drop those verdant gloves. Sta and 14 agi vs 1500armor. Sounds fair too me.

finally got onto test myself and answered this ^^
Feral Staff of Lashing
from
300 Armor
+35 Strength
+29 Agility
+33 Stamina
525 attack power
to
300 armour
+35 strength
+33 agility
+33 stam
525 attack power
so +4 agility .. not a terrible upgrade .. but nothing like braxxis got
also the enchant now puts the glow on the head rather than a spot in the middle of the staff .. cosmetic but nice
dont know if its mentioned.. but new gotw icon too

was there an increase to the armor on the pvp sets? Mostly interested in the blue stuff. Might make an nice 'statful' alternative to clefthoof.
Edit: had a friend check. Apparently they did not increase the armor on the marshal pvp set, which is strange.

No changes to Gladiator pieces.. I was hoping these would fall under the "gear that has additional armour" category, but no suck luck.
Still, shoulders still compare favourably with T4, and could be a good way of getting anti-crit if you go T4 in the other slots for the set bonus.

While its not the best for either extreme the stats are not horrible and it does have a meta socket which smmes to be missing for feral gear short of Malorne.
The trinket looks very nice, I will have to look at whats involved to get it.
Gloves
404 Armor
29 Strength
24 Stamina

21 Crit Rating

Unless I don't understand the way the item budget works can't the 21 crit rating be interchanged with 21 agility?
Personally the only Green lines of text I want to see on my feral gear are:
1. Hit rating.
2. Feral AP.
3. Feral skill rating.
The last of which is missing on items past quest reward blues, excluding the Shapeshifters ring
