Assuming Aspect of the Wild and FrR Totem that means you need 172 from gear. In order to get to 172 of both resistance types, you have to pretty much give up being uncritable. Between this, and the fact there's no crafted NR/FrR leather gear at 70, I consider this a good indication that we aren't intended to need the resist gear for OT on Hydross. Consider Gurg's AoE Method of killing adds, No add should be alive by the first mark, stack Sta and Dodge for Hydross, NOT resistances. You'll at least be able to use the gear on other encounters.

I like the compactness of your spreadsheet: only 157k. I think it would help to add more items in your database, as you're now working on. I'm not sure about why there is a column for socket bonus; it seems like it should be a row instead.

How are people socketing Breastplate of Malorne, given the changes that are happening to it?

My first inclination was to stuff it full of SSoE, but given that it's also pretty respectable for kitty, the question becomes whether (and how) to socket it for a hybrid tanking and dps role instead.

This question gets repeated for every item.
If you are tanking mostly, nothing beats 3x SSoE's (except a few epic gems) on an item where you aren't likely to get the socket bonus (I hate yellow sockets).
If you are doing DPS mostly, nothing beats 3x Agi gems.
If you are your guilds OT, something like Glinting Noble Topaz, Shifting Nightseye, and SSoE wouldn't be terrible. Losing 18 Sta to gain 8 agi 8 hit for an OT role where initial aggro is very important.

Ok, I've created an account on Filefront and uploaded it. I then submitted it to be shared, but it's been pending for 3 hours now. I'll post the link when it's finally been given "shared" permission.

Keep in mind I didn't really intend this for public consumption. I basically took Emmerald's lists and then deleted a bunch of low-level items, added pages for Enchant stats and my own PvP and Bear gear, and then occasionally (ok, daily) play with the spreadsheet. By play with, I mean: I update item values for 2.1, change by calculation for PvP rating (currently Kitty Burst Points / 4 + Stamina + Resilince / 2), and decide on my near-term wish list and color-code those items.

A few more things to note: there are a number of macros from the original sheet. I haven't added any more macros, but the default Windows security settings will ask if you want to enable macros each time you open the spreadsheet. Also, in my PvP and Bear gear pages, I type in the name of each item I have (or cut-and-paste from the Items sheet), and it looks up the stats from the Items sheet. The reason I do it this way is that I'm constantly re-sorting the Items sheet by Kitty, PvP, and Bear. (Sort by Column I [Location], then by one of the stat columns). I added comments to various items. In the "Requires" column, sometimes I add the name of the mob that drops it.

To make clear, I'm not supporting this spreadsheet as "release software" -- it's just sometime I play with myself, and I hope it's useful for other spreadsheet makers and hacks. :-)

My casual raiding guild has yet to clear Curator, so I don't have the stats of some high-end items in Hugehoss' new endgame list.

2 x Glinting Noble Topaz
1 x Shifting Nightseye

That's what I'm doin anyways. Almost brings it up to the same DPS level as Terrorweave, while maintaining alot of the tanking stats, namely the dodge/crit from agility.

That's strange, the only reason I thought there was a problem is because I'm used to seeing much higher numbers in game, but that may be because I run super buffed a lot of the time.

Anyway, here's the updated version. All the gear is now within the final sheet & you can add whatever you like to the gear sheet by just adding the stats. I've put some slightly strange choices in the sheet e.g. moonglade items, this is to keep the sheet useful for those who, like me, are playing an OT/dps/emergency heals role in Kara.

Once again you need to either hit F9 to update the whole sheet or turn automatic calculations on.

The front sheet shows a summary of each of the 3 chosen gear sets, & a graph showing some keystats. What I'd like to do ultimately is add in a tanking simulator to the sheet to see how long you'd last in each set, but this may be too ambitious.

Still to do:-
Non-crafted Gems
Set Bonuses
Socket Bonuses

I can't give you rep again Farstrider till I spread it around but I really am enjoying playing around with your spreadsheet. Especially the ability to graphically show what the 3 diff sets will do.

One thing for when you finally do say its done is to get your dropdown lists alphabatized.

Tublade, stop signing your pots, we can move our eyes half a degree to the left and see who you are.

edit: Just in case you don't check your pms Farstrider, do you include feral swiftness for dodge? Looks to me your calc is dodge from agi + dodge from rating + dodge from defense + ne or not
