You'd be amazed at how many times this has been asked and how many times we have said that most enhance that are at KT do not use any of the weapons, except maybe the 2H briefly for the Use effect.

Oh really? Ya I tried the dagger in my OH for a while and I just wasnt feeling it. And the axe was still wicked slow even with the hit buff.

Appologies for not reading through previous entries, 100 pages is a bit overwhelming to look for something so specific.

Thats why there are 2 buttons near the top of your screen for searching.

I just started using enhancer today - I'll probably continue using yata for non-standard totem selection. In any case, this timing is great, since yo's simulator exports a string. I'm assuming I copy/paste that in-game after the /enhancer EP____ command, and will play around with it some. Hopefully I find some time to use a proc'less weapon to compare ingame dps to simulator dps.

On this topic, does anyone know of an accurate online calculator that turns mob armor value into mitigation percent?

I use mitigated damage = your damage*11960/(armor+11960)
Damage lost to armor = your damage*armor/(armor+11960)
If someone post the list of boss's armor - will use it for drop-down menu.

This is major concern for me. I can do only limited import when user has to copy and paste page into simulator manually because of applet technology limitations. And weapons stats have to be typed in directly (or pasted again). This can be changed with server-side scripts that require commercial style hosting or tons of ads. Thinking how far I can/want go with it. If someone has an idea - please pm me.

Hm. You should be able to directly access the XML with a DOM reader, Blizzard hasn't exactly hidden any of the data on the character screens.

Just downloaded enhancer, GotWood is officially gone. My only issue is that for some reason I get an error whenever I log in saying that the Library "AceDebug-2.0" doesn't exist (which I have in my libraries), not to mention the AEP values aren't showing up in my tooltips (despite my enabling, disabling and reinputting AEP values several times). Even HEP/DEP stuff isn't showing up. If I'm the only one who seems to be getting those kind of errors, I'll PM the author, but wanted to see if I was the only one or if someone else already rectified this same error.

So has anyone tried out the new version of pawn with weapon min/max dmg support yet?

And a question for all you sim makers out there, how does blizzard determine where in the min/max range of damage your hits land?

P.S. 100 pages and going strong. Keep up the good work everyone.

MobMitigation mod can show both values: effective armor or %damage mitigated.

And from WoWWiki:
%Reduction vs. 70 = (Armor / (Armor + 10557.5)) * 100
%Reduction vs. 73 = (Armor / (Armor + 11960)) * 100

Hi all, I am a long time lurker seeking questions for my next weapon upgrade.

Currently I'm using Wicked Edge of the Plains and Merc axe. What would be my next weapon combo be like?

Rising Tide + Syphon or Syphon x 2

Hi, long time reader, first time poster here. I've learned a lot reading this thread, and want to thank everyone for their time put into this.

I've got a questiong of my own now though, and hope someone has an anwser.

Last night i started thinking about Shamanistic Rage and the hunter skill Hunter's Mark and the talent Expose Weakness.

The tooltips state that Attackers "gain" extra AP when attacking a mob with said debuff by X.

Now i was wondering: Has anyone tested if the AP gained increases the Mana regenerated with SR?

Dagger in OH is bad choise for sure. Our shaman usually use dagger in MH.. dunno if this drops his dps.

The damage you do is
round(random*(max-min))+min
Random is uniformly distributed in 0..1 range

@ Multane, I'm pretty sure the AP gain from SR is a direct conversion from your character screen AP, and as expose weakness does not give you any AP on your character screen I would suggest it does not.

One thing to note, the mana regenned from SR is affected by the WF bonus if it procs a SR charge I think, I cant explain any other way I got a 599 SR tick.

i've been pondering a bit bout what to wear in pve

im using 3x t6 with illidan head+archi chest and was considering switchin the chest with t6 for the bonus

it'd basically be 19crit 14hit 14AP vs t6 70ap proc... cant really make up my mind.
someone got math behind that?

btw stigmata, uhave 34% crit with a feraldruid/kings/motw or am i seeing something wrong, thats terrible :p

That would be a screwup on my part, I run disembedded libs and it's been a few additions since I tested it purely stand alone (I'll make sure to test it a bit more often). Anyway I updated it on wowace with a reference to AceDebug so should take care of both issuses (AEP is beeing calculated with the ItemBonusLib wich requires AceDebug)

This is pretty counter-intuitive Yo!, can you not have it calculate the +10% stats after accounting for the other buffs? Would also request that you add the +AP food to the Buffs.

Yah I'd like to return to this, I'm wondering if anyone has ideas on how to weight weapon stats, or if its even needed.

And to call attention to it again, I still need help in locating the following information to add to the Theorycraft Wiki page for Enhance shaman:
* Do we have some better reasoning for the crit dmg meta gem, other than the rudimentary reasoning I have in the OP right now? Theoretical dps value or something?
* I have the math showing the new WF as still good for rogues, lacking such evidence for Warriors.
* Anyone still have a link to Flametongue vs WF for OH?
* And the big one, I could use some links the original discussions where we illustrated how the WF cooldown makes fast OHs interfere with the procs, I'm lacking a more detailed explanation of it.
* Graphics. People like pretty pie charts and illustrations. So if you think you can make a graphic that illustrates the WF cooldown or any other concept, let me know.
