In versions 2.2.0.4 and 2.2.0.5 in Mac Excel 11.3.5 I get "Error in loading DLL" errors on opening the spreadsheet or clicking on any of the buttons. I had no problems using the "Save DPS" or "Calcuate AEP" buttons in the 2.3.5 version.
on edit - looks like my VBA installation was corrupt.

Not seeing that same problem here.
Excel version 11.0
The "search upgrade" functions still cause the "function not defined" error however.

In Version 2.2.04 and 2.2.0.5 some Gems are only available, when Jewelcrafter is activated, but they are Boe. Example: Wicked Noble Topaz (4crit/8ap)
Should be the only gem. Some gems are marked as Jewelcrafter because of BoP.
Some Gems are marked as Hayjal and same as Heroic (and Quiality of course)

Would test it, but a don't have a Mac and Zurgat says it works for him.

Of course, first to say: great job on upgrading the files. It must be a hell of a job to figure out all this stuff and implement it in such a file.
Allthough I'm willing to give a suggestion for another implementation:
I'm wearing some gems in my gear which are Unique since they come from an Heroic instance. When I say I equip it in the DPS spreadsheet and click on the "upgrade gems" button it still says in some gems fields I can upgrade it with another unique gem which I already have equipped.
Is it possible to detect which unique gems u have equipped at the moment and then eleminate it for the rest of the sockets?

I've already flaggt them unique, because I wanted to make this with the last release (or one of them). The problem is, I make comparison and I'll get the row where the gem is set in, but for all Gems how aren't use I get an error in this I could intercept by using iferror. The only problem is, this seems to only work in Excel 2007.
Well basically it comes down to 5% crit for special attacks - including windfury - versus the 212 haste rating proc of the mace.
Additionally, you would either have to chose between mace spec and weapon expertise, or take all of them, mace spec, weapon expertise and sword spec, which is a rather heavy investment (takes that last two points in e.g. vile poisons also away).
Since I don't know how the proc rate for the mace is, I have no idea, but I suppose that the fist would be better.
What does the spreadsheet say?
Heh, as for the proc rate, it doesn't proc too often ( i haven't tested it but it sure doesn't proc alot)
If i choose mace spec, 0 points will go to mace specialization, 5/5 swords, and maxed weapon expertise, so its not a total loss if i go towards Mace.
As you mentioned, it basically comes down to 5% crits on specials etc, or haste rating + higher top end damage (343 max on Mace, compared to 330 on Merciless Fist)
I'm seeking for some knowledge beyond my own, any input would be well appreciated !
Just buildin at the Racials. Quick Question @ Bloodelfs. The Racial gives every 1:30min 30 Energy when using? (I know you have to build up charges, but when using this ability)

First off, great job on updating this valuable tool. I have been using this Spreadsheet for ages now, and the Upgrade Makros are a really great tool.
As the development of the Spreadsheet is speeding up at a rapid pace right now, I would like to use the opportunity to give a feature suggestion:
- Easy to switch Talent Templates.
What I mean by this is to provide a list of the most common specs, such as Mutilate, Combat (Dagger, Mace, Fist, Sword), Hemo, etc. and a customizable spec to choose from. (Basically you get a dropdown field and if you choose one of the specs, the values are copied into the talent cells accordingly very simmilar to how the item selection works).
- Why would this be interesting ?
Well, it is all about comparing "what DPS would I do with the weapons I got access to with the different specs". Simply switch back and forth between Combat Dagger, Mutilate, and whatever to see how this affects your DPS and gear choices. And it would also be more simple for new users to select their spec, if it differs from the one used when uploading the latest version of the spreadsheet.
Another neat feature would be, if the item upgrades calculated by the macro are not only added as a comment to the item cell in the geat Spreadsheet. Instead, the Upgrade Makro could create an additional table where you can see all your possible upgrades with the related numbers at once without having to mouse-over the item-cells.
Just some ideas. :-) Elsewise, keep up the great work!
It's 30 Energy every 2 minutes at most. (Arcane Torrent is the ability that triggers the actual Mana/Energy restoration, and has a 2 minute cooldown)
Correct, "mana tap" has a 30 second cooldown, but can only be used against creatures / players with mana.
The actual mana / energy / rage giving ability has a 2 minute cooldown.
1 Charge can be obtained every 30 seconds.
Max charges : 3
10 Energy gained per charge.

I use 2 spreadsheets for this purpose.
* One where i have my default gear and Swords equipped.
* One where i have the same gear, but am using Daggers.
It works decently.

Haven't checked the later version after the change, but I believe you have to set "Maces" somewhere. Before, you simply had to scroll down to the maces in the weapons field.

Have fun by buildin this
This would be to much work for to less use, I think I won't make this.
Few questions, sorry if this has already been answered.
Rupture vs Evis.. everyone says that rupture is better, and yet it only ticks for 1000 over 16 seconds, while my evis (as a sword rogue) hits for 1100-non crit. If it crits its 2500-3200
Secondly, I currently use IP in my MH and DP in my OH, I'm curious if this is maximizing my damage output?
There were other questions I had, but of course I forgot
also curious, I was told by a rogue today that Blade Flurry doesn't stack with SnD, of course I thought it completely wrong, but I'm curious what you guys thought.

The changelog, multiple posts on this page and the last, all have the answer to this. You have to select the weapon type on the right side of the gear sheet now.
I'm currently trying to decide between Merciless mainhand dagger and fist, so I entered my current "dagger" gear (1618 AP, 31.14%crit, 18,70%hit, DST and hourglass as trinkets, haste metagem and netherblade 2 piece bonus) and checked how much less dps I would gain with the fist than the dagger. It was a big surprise to notice that according to the spreadsheet I actually did considerably more unbuffed dps with the fist, even with a dagger in the offhand. Can this be true? I used pretty standard 20/41/0 and 15/41/5 builds and triple checked the talents.
Sorry about vague question, I just can't narrow down what the reason for this could be, unless it's that combat daggers really need help.
