[Shaman] Enhancement DPS - Page 3

I really gotta say, after the wf bug fix/nerf I was expecting to be doing a lot worse on the meters. Yeah we used to top meters in many lower end instances but we'll never be top if you have amazing DPSers in your raid. Warriors, rogues, warlocks will almost always beat you.

Personally my normal group is 1 DPS warrior, and either 3 rogues or 2 rogues and a druid. Now I'll never beat the warrior or rogues in damage on a fight where everything is equal but with the amount of DPS I give them from Unleashed Rage, SOE and WF totem, it more than makes up for what I don't do. We are support DPS, yeah the more the better but no one should ever think you aren't a quality player because you never finish first. It just means other people in your raid are doing their job correctly.

I am in a guild that is still in progressing for the Karazan Key. I have been looking thru the threads and I didn't see much suggestions for main hand weapons that were not in Heroic Instances or the raiding zones. I Have completed my First fragment quest for the Karazan Key. I have the 2nd Fragment, and I still need the 3rd Fragment for the key.

I am in a 2v2, 3v3, and a 5v5 arena. This morning before I found this website and started reading the Shaman threads on this site I had purchased the Veteran Linked Girdle. I am planning on buying this next for either MH or OH Grand Marshal's Pummeler and then go with the Merciless Gladiator's Pummeler. I currently have 1371 Arena Points, and around 1k Honor points atm.

Should I buy the Merciless Gladiator's Link Armor set with my Arena points, or buy the Pummeler first? Also do you recommend the Arena Leather sets over the Mail sets with the Stormstrike set bonus?

The Weapons I currently have to choose from are the following:
Retainer's Blade
Apexis Crystal Mace
Diamond Tipped Claws of the Champion
Gladiator's Left Ripper

I saw that for gems it is recommended that you put in the following for socket colors:

Itemization - Gems
Best bets are to use
Red socket: [Bold Living Ruby].
Yellow socket:[Inscribed Noble Topaz].
Blue socket: [Sovereign Nightseye].

The [Rigid Dawnstone] is always the wrong answer for enhance shaman.
The [Bold Living Ruby] will always be better then [Bright Living Ruby] in a raid environment due to Blessing of Kings.

Well from that list I do not have the Inscribed Noble Topaz. So what would be recommend based on my current designs I already own?

Any help you can offer or suggestions to help better my dps in Arena's, Battlegrounds and groups and raids would be greatly appreciated.

Pummeler first, it's a PvE upgrade.

No. Unlike in PvE, in PvP your armor class actually matters.

If you aren't willing to buy Inscribed or get them from guildies, just put the +8 str gem in all the slots and forgo the socket bonus.

You really, really need Salvation to do good DPS. Failing that, a good tank (probably feral).

I had few threat issues with heroic five mans, but that was because I grouped alot with my Guild's main feral.

Hello there...i was bit bored and i sayd let's take a look on enhancement shaman posts

... And what i saw loads of shit's...apologies...If you want to stay enhancement...just stay...u good loads of action...I have played 3 chars...mage / lock / rogue , all of them runing in t6 raids. No one of those chars make me happy, when i build a shaman...thing's change...4/5 times im on top dps in raids...( NO Heroics ) ...and not because mages / lock's / rogues from my guild r not well geared...just because im a shaman...is very simple to play a mage...lock / rogue same thing. If u r 1 of those classes and u see ur in top dps...thank's to shamans...because they doing 48% from total buff's ( 30% from your total damage ), BUT if u r a shaman...be your self...u don't need to be 1st in top dps...if u want that...well is very easy. I don't want to say im the best, but i'm really tired to see mages / locks / rogues sayd "yeah...im in 1st top again"...and now they don't give pay atention to shamans...esppecialy to enha...

I was recently enhance, I level'd as enhance, and raided as enhance for quite a while, made my way into tk and ssc, then suddenly decided to respec to elemental, As enhance i would come in the top 6 for dps ALWAYS, even while i was droping wf/soe/ms For the other members of the group, Perhaps you're doing something wrong? Honestly if you stay on the ball you will get to the top of the meters, I NEVER socket for hit and try and mainly just socket for strength, Recently going str/crit though to raise my crit rating lol.
As for threat, Start dpsing alot later, Although it will gimp you You'll not have to worry about geting your face melted by said mob, And you can really open up, Thats what i always did and i never seemed to pull
