SHHHHH... before blizzard nerfs it!

Well just from personal experience i can say that i run pretty good with the 4 T5 bonus and 68 spellhast rating atm.
Especially my overheal seemed to drop significantly compared to my guildmates due to my ability to get the first heal on a target while random healing. Since we run with 2-3 shadowpriests every raid i don't have mana problems in long or healing intensive fights either and top the meter on najentus without swallowing even one super mana potion. (unflasked).

At the end of course it depends on your personal playstyle (i like to play it around 60% flash. 40% holy light without downranking)

What's the point of 4pt5 if you use FoL so much? 83% of those Naj'entus heals were FoL. The rest of the fights were ~60/40. I'd think with that play style you're better off with 4/5 t6 and stacking +healing.

Good point, reason for that is that i actually tried out downranking HoL and not using FoL.
But i don't posses the lurker trinket and felt that my efficiency dropped.
with that correlation of HoL/FoL i run very well and didn't find a better setup yet casue you can be convinced that the important heals are fully using the 4p t5 bonus

The other reason is that my guild isn't so far in BT/hyjal that i could get 4p t6 yet.

Even isntant spells require that extra safety measure due to ping variance due to the global cooldown, so in fact haste will not help in any way to speed up your number of FoL casts over given time if you're using /stopcasting.

Example:
ping=200
0.0 cast FoL, GCD starts on client
0.2 server casts FoL, starts GCD
ping changed to 180
1.5 GCD finishes, you instantly with godly reflexes hit FoL again, GCD starts on client
1.68 server receives FoL cast and returns "spell not ready"
1.7 GCD finishes on the server
1.86 you receive "spell not ready" which resets your GCD on the client and lets you cast again

As you can see due to ping variance trying to cast every 1.5s actually resulted in casting once every 1.86 seconds with these ping values. The only way to avoid this is to manually delay your casts by additional Xms, in this example 20, but in reality should be your maximum ping - your minimum ping if you never want to have casts delayed by this - less if you want to speed up most casts and have very few interrupted. Overall finding out how your ping really varies is near-impossible so just experimenting will probably give you the best information about what delay you need with your connection. From what I've been hearing from people this gets anywhere between 0.07s to 0.2s. For me it seems around 0.13-0.15s or so but I do run with a ping of around 400.

Here's a question: is it possible to reach a crit cap for FOL? As in, can you get your regen to the point where adding spellcrit doesn't give you a positive return?

In other words, what's the POI on spellcrit vs. +healing given X mana regen?

In some respects I'm an old school style of healer. Never had Light's Grace. So I tend to cast/cancel HL and use FoL as a topper upper. Our WWS shows me doing anywhere from 20-40% Holy Light. Personally, I view haste as a tremendous increase in my ability to deliver a heal. I am currently using the 4 pc Tier 5 bonus to great effect (#1 or #2 in healing in almost every fight. We are still working on Kael so this may change as we move forward.).

I've actually argued against the 90%+ FoL spammers from even being admitted into guild bceause I dont feel they are truly understanding healing requirements, and instead just using a brute force tactic to minimize exposure. Yet even in the FoL spam circumstances, I still feel landing the heal quicker will yield benefits.

So for me, the haste items seem quite exciting.
