Why is [Soul Cleaver] not a good option? To me 80 dps difference in the favor of [Jin'rohk, The Great Apocalypse] seems like complete bullshit. I cannot check it in the spreadsheet though, due to it not working in OO. Soul cleaver has higher dps (and average swing damage) and has significantly better stats (I get 65 str+315 ArP to be about 20% better than 120 AP and 45 haste). Can the extra dps from sword spec and the human racial really account for that much and make Jin'rokh as much as 80 dps better?

Napkin math: If you have 0 expertise, then 5 expertise is giving you an additional 2.5% chance to land attacks which is roughly 2.5% more DPS.

Assuming 1500 DPS, then that's 37 DPS from the expertise alone and a 43 DPS increase from Sword Spec doesn't sound too unrealistic, does it?

5 expertise is 1.25% anti-dodge, parry is not an issue for dps warriors.

Checking it in Rawr I get Soul Cleaver to be 20 dps (or about 2% in my gear) better than Jin'rokh, but that is without weapon specs and racial expertise, so all in all I guess Jin'rokh is better for a human, but not by 80 dps.

Doh, I was in tank mode when calculating that. Sorry about that, you are of course right.

I just reinstalled and I am getting the error that Excel 2007 has to remove some formatting that a couple others have mentioned. Search doesnt find any fix mentioned yet, is there one?
Ill try to scrounge up 2003 and see if that works.

It was just one of those times where I, too, was shocked by the spreadsheet results, so I enchanted the Soul Cleaver and took it to a few raids. I was unimpressed, rage generation was very spikey, DPS was down on average and highly variable, and I went back to the Twinblade.

Tried to use your WarriorDPS_400rc1-2 but can't get it to work not matter what I try. When I load it, everything seems fine, also when I put in my talents and buffs. But as soon as I select another spec in the sets-section (doesn't matter if it's one of yours or one of mine), all the numbers in the top secion get lost and are replased with "#NV" - same goes for the SEP numbers on the side of the items/gems.
I guess somehow he can't get the data from the other files - though all are open and working with no problems.

Just a thought - shouldn't it solve alot of problems putting everything in 1 file and not in 3 different?
