Pre-TBC boss levels

It is accepted knowledge that any "skull" level mob (both pre and post TBC) has a dynamic level that is just simply your level +3. I'm curious to know if there is a link out there to any testing that has been done to prove that pre-tbc boss mobs act just like BC bosses when it comes to miss rate, resist rate, crushing blows etc. The reason I'm questioning this is because of the armory - which supposedly has info pulled from the game files - shows pre-tbc bosses as level 63. And it shows BC bosses at level 73.

Example:
The World of Warcraft Armory - scroll down to see that Ragnaros is a 63 boss
The World of Warcraft Armory - scroll down to see that HKM is a 73 boss

I did a few searches, but didn't end up finding any testing done to prove that pre-tbc bosses act like they are level 73 when it comes to miss/resist/crushing/glancing/etc rates; but I may not be searching under the right terms or something.

I just want to make sure that we aren't testing game mechanics under the wrong assumptions.

There was testing a while back in one of the weapon skill threads that exhibited a ~20-25% glance chance against the snake boss in ZA, which means they're certainly not level 63. And a quick glance at WWS parses for my guild indicates that glancing chance is about in this range for bosses in Hyjal and Black Temple, so I for one feel pretty confident that old-world skull-level bosses act as 73s.

I assume by ZA you mean ZG, right?

I would assume as much since there is no snake boss in ZA.

Yes, sorry, I meant ZG.

actually i went to ony serveral times since BC. just nice gold arming there ;)
what i recognized is, that you resist her spells very often.
maby the deep breath is not a spell cast by herself, but an "event" kind of triggered by her. i dont know. - but most times you just resist it. - and that wont be the fact, if she would be lvl 73 i think?
im not sure, but i think its the same with her fireballs and firebreath
