What about
2 Elemental Shamans
2 DestoWarlock
1 Boomkin

This group can do insane DPS. Warlocks can switch all the hit rating gems, items to better DPS gems.
Shamans won't need mana in this party, cause the crit about %50-55 will make Clearcasting always active.
Boomkin is the problem. Can he take care with OOM if he uses all Flasks, innervate, Potions... ?

if the answer for Boomkin is yes ? This party does not need any Shadow Priest.
i have fight for 8-10 minutes in some encounters as elemental shaman. With my sweet Alchemist Stone and Totem of (which decreases LightningBOLT mana need) i never get OOM before the BOss has kissed the ground.
So i did not made any calculation for the setup above. But think about 2 Bloodlusts, stacking Totem of Wrath,
(%6crit/hit) Wrath of Air + Tranuil Air totem, Healing Stream for Warlocks to do Manatap safely and Mana Spring totem at the same time.

I set up caster dps groups for my guild.

We always end up using one lock for imp buff on the MT

Now if you want to get technical you might as well gkick all your mages and im sure manly will hate me for this. Given the way mages are atm even with optimum set up for the majority of the fights in t6 content mages fall short to say the least. Mages are also have very little flexibility when it comes to raid grouping, Put a mage in a g without a SP destroys their dps and if you have to do that your better of removing them from the raid and filling the spot with huntard or a lock.

WWS Scoreboard From what i can gather from this, these are avg from the top dps phrases on wowwebstats once again these pharses could be skewed.

If you do bring mages we benefit more from heroism than any other class atm, by syncing it with your CD and putting it under 20% there dps for that time period sky rockets. I can be 6 or 7th on the dmg meter before 20% and hop to # 1 of 2 before the fight ends.

Notes
Dont bring mages if you cant give them a sp or a heroism
If do do bring them give the sp and switch the groups for the heroism at 30 or 25%
Make sure the oomkin gets the SP there in the same boat as mage with going oom and being useless afterwards

I by no means am a full t6 raider who knows all this from exp, this is just from what i have been able to gather from the data i have seen over the past few months.

Karga, you see, even if I so badly try to remove hit off my gear and actually not lose dps I could never get below 160-165 hit I guess. There simply is no use for the hit on the totems (in trash gear atm I'm on 183 hit ). But yes, the dps would be nice, the mana would be lacking a lot though, no tide, no spriest. It's pretty much still -520mp5 for the locks (BoW + JoW + Spring + Chain pots)

The simulator has always supported all forms of mana regen, including LifeTap.

However, certain pages (including the dps rankings) assume infinite mana for all classes.

What buffs? Shadow Priest? Fight long enough for two Evocates? etc etc

The ISB page -does- include Life Tap..... but still has the "wrong" spell rotation. (ie: Corruption/Immolate aren't thrown out) For the purposes of DPS I've found it really doesn't sway the results much.

But for the purposes of calculating ISB-Uptime this is clearly a mistake.

Once 2.4 goes live I'll re-create all the pages based upon the new mechanics.

The 2 ele shaman/2 lock/boomkin group does have possibilities. Tranquil air will cure any of the locks or boomkins threat issues, nicely dealing with the boomkin issue of having to spec into subtlety to miss other talents. The crit bonus would be huge and with top of the line current gear I would have no problem maintaining dps for many minutes with my gear and not even using the badge totem. I probably wouldn't even need to mana pot fully with the 50-55% crit this group would bring. Locks would get both mana and health spring, which would help them a bit. However come 2.4 with all the haste gear coming out this breaks down. I am losing virtually all my mp5 on my gear and instead gaining massive quantities of haste. I will need a shadow priest bigtime come then, and so will any other caster since all caster gear is going this way. So viable now sure, just not in the near future.
