The mana regen on my char sheet remains the same between caster and both moonkin/tree forms, so I imagine they should be the same.

My formula is right, because only the MP5 Bonus of the Buffs has to be added.
44 int(IntBuff+Kings) -> 44*0.1= 4.4 Extra MP5
The MP5 Bonus from your Base Stats (500 Int -> 50MP5) is included in the Value of the Field "MP5 (Charscreen)". Because when you copy your ingame Value it is added already. If you are a Shaman who didn't skilled it but want to
test how it would be if you would, you have to add this 10% Base Value manually to the field "MP5 (Charscreen)".

Perhaps Heavenwood has enough time this weekend to think about it, otherwise it would take some time. Perhaps this function does not have to be that exactly, because at a manapool of 10000 Mana the difference between the Races does not care so much.

He was trying to answer a question regarding what the current regen model is for tree/moonkin druids are for the purpose of including their current regen model into a spreadsheet so they too can compare their 2.3 regen against 2.4 regen.

I forgot that as a resto shaman the mp5 from that talent would not show up in my character screen. Your formula is indeed corect. Any plans to add some text with instructions/explanations. If so, it would be good to note that shamans without the talent will need to manually add that to their mp5 Charscreen field.

I added a sheet to the file with priest gear and their stats to play with. Some of the formula's might need tweaking, but for the most part it looks like a pretty good rough outline to work with. The priest mp5 calculations are based off the stats you first enter under the character sheet.

It bases the percents from the first sheet where you input your stats, I never thought to enter spiritual guidance into the equation. Isn't that a druid talent? Haha, never knew anyone downloaded my gear.xls...Knew a few guildmates did, but that was about it. I am happy the merge into the 2.4 theorycrafting sheet is going well. I can add another 2 collumns into it for percent casting however and look at spiritual guidance.
I will make some changes to the formulas and repost it.

Uhhhh, their download script on that page seems to be defective for me.
I had to view the page source code and pull the download link from there and copy/paste it in order to grab your file.
Problem exists in IE7 and Firefox 2.0.0.12

I copied the source code and put it into the link...but I still see some errors with the "percent casting" formula.
I reuploaded it with the corrections to the percent casting formula....best redownload it again.

I may have missed it, but after reading so much my eyes hurt. I was told the equation for spirit regen is much different than what it was. Do we know the exact spi + int = mp/5 equation? No buffs, racials, or talents. Just the equation. Thanks in advance for the help.
