It entirely depends on the stats of the gems.
A wotlk stamina gem isn't going to beat a tbc str gem in the cat model.

That's likely a parsing error. If it isn't, I'll eat my hat. And then fix the problem.

I don't have the crashing problem but I do have the problem where I am unable to right click and have anything happen at all. Armor, weapons, gems, etc.. all work when I right click, however when I try to right click on an enchant of any type nothing happens. No box, no crashing, just nothing at all FYI.

Tankadin stats discrepancies
Please reference this character, which was loaded directly to a clean install of Rawr v2.1.2 with the File->Load from Armory... option.
My health (with the Toughness health bonus checked) is reported by Rawr as 20537, whereas on the armory website the character sheet shows 24414, which i matches my in-game stats.
I understand that the additional stamina from the solid chalcedony socketed in the eternal belt buckle may not be accounted for, but that does not make up the 4k discrepancy in HP. Incidentally the gem in the belt buckle seems to break the socket bonus for the belt.
Similarly, Rawr reports my total agility as 91, which does not match the armory agility of 104.
Astrylian, your attention is greatly appreciated, as is all the hard work you and the other developers have placed into Rawr.

I think it was mentioned earlier that the Tankadin module is is still using 70 base stats

I did mention it earlier, and it is now fixed in source control. You can wait for the next version to be released or you can checkout the current version for source code and compile it
Currently Amory does support the extra gem added from sockets (even though it doesn't display it either). So when you load a Rawr character from Armory it will create a new instance of the items with all the gem in it (including the Belt buckle one). It won't get the type of the socket so it is of "none" type, which will break the socket bonus. The easiest way to fix this is the edit the item and change the socket to the right type (like "blue").

While I think it might be relevant for some classes, the default behavior of Rawr to show just about every possible gemming combination for a particular item, resulting in dozens of appearances of the same item in the right hand panel, it seems unnecessary for some specs/classes. For Enhancement shaman we really just need to see the *best* iteration of the item. Possible to have this added as a feature, as a toggled option perhaps? Having to 'delete duplicates' for every item that has gems is pretty annoying.

The best way to deal with that now is to use the "Set Default Gemmings" option in the tools menu. You can select which gem to use for each socket, and to delete all other gemmings. I normally give it to different gemmings, one for the best gem for me (ignore socket color) and one for the best gem per each color, so I can better exam if the socket bonus is worth it.

Yah I tried that out last night and it had some odd results, when I clicked the Red Gem slot the list came up as blank, no gems displayed at all. It also seems that I can't do any sort of bulk selection for editing default gems, I have to individually select and delete each gem that isn't interesting.
Definitely some non-user-friendly aspects of Rawr that will hopefully be refined over time.

Any thoughts on adding the ability to ignore certain aspects out of the overall score? I'm tired of manually having to factor out the threat score for my tank gear, the survival score for my DPS gear, etc.

Download - Rawr - Release: Rawr 2.1.3
Rawr is now designed for use with WoW 3.0, primarily for characters up to level 80. Some things to note:
ā¢We're not done. We've included only the models that have been updated for WoW 3.0; older models are available via our source control only, since they're not of much use until they get updated.
ā¢To help you stay updated with the latest changes, Rawr will now check for new available updates, notify you if there's a newer version, and offer to open Rawr's website for you.
ā¢We now have support for loading item data from Wowhead. Please note that the Wowhead parsing is brand new, so there are bound to be bugs. Please report any bugs you find, and we'll try to get them fixed asap.
Recent Changes:
v2.1.3: Improvements to CharacterProfiler support. Can now load items by exact name, as well as load from Armory and fail over to Wowhead if not found. Support for several new set bonuses and proc/use effects. Fixed base stat calculations in Retribution and Tankadin, and a few more calculation fixes in Retribution. Fixes for a few buff/enchant stats.

I hate to say this but in Rawr.Ret hit rating is still shown with level 70 value, 15.7 per 1% hit. I have 186 hit rating and it claims I have 11.80% hit. Mind you, this might be just a tooltip error and the actual underlying calculation is correct? Same seems to be the case for expertise, with 32 expertise tooltip says I negate 8% dodge chance.
EDIT: Another issue is that you cannot set boss armor value to higher than 10000. Since all Wrath bosses have 13083 armor it throws calculations off somewhat. Interim solution for users is to set boss armor value to 7898 and disable all armor debuffs.

Feature Requests
First I would like to thank everyone working on Rawr!
Feature Request:
When filtering items via name in the item select popup always additionally display the currently equipped item.
Reason:
You normally use this filtering to compare your current item with some that e.g. dropped, but comparison is not possible because you can't see both scores in comparison.

I was wondering if there would be a way to filter out the BoP Jewlcrafting gems, if you are not a Jewlcrafter? Could there be a option were the user could select their characters professions so that certain BoP items would not be listed?

Yep, that's a tooltip bug. I'm fixing it now, but the actual calculations are correct. Looks like Zurm updated the calculations, but not the display. I'll probably just upload a new copy of 2.1.3 since it's just a cosmetic change, in a few. (Also fixing the boss armor max)
EDIT: Retadins, redownload Rawr 2.1.3 to get the fixed version. You should notice that on the loading screen, Retribution shows up as version 2.1.3.1. This fixes a couple things: Most of the rating tooltips were still using the old conversion rates on the stats page (though calculated correctly internally), the default boss armor value is 13083, the max boss armor is now 30000, and fixes one minor calculation problem, Hit Rating wasn't correctly affecting spell resist rate, now it is.

Thanks for the updated Rawr.Ret, Astrylian!
A few things still seem to be wierd. I'm showing 1.04% less Crit than I should have. (25.64, vs 26.68). 345 crit rating is the correct amount, and the cirt chance it is showing (7.51%) is good but, something is missing in the calc... maybe a talent isn't getting added?
Also, Expertise seems to still be on the old 70 value possibly in the display? As it is showing me with 35 Expertise but, I only have 16.
Also, I'm showing more STR than I should have (872 vs 866), and less Agility (405 vs 411).
This is my armory, I am directly importing it into Rawr no changes: The World of Warcraft Armory
Keep up the good work! I've loved using this program and appreciate all the work you guys put into it.
*EDIT: Figured out where 3% of my missing crit was.. didn't select Heart of the Crusader in the buffs. Still missing 1.04%... hmm

Retribution Paladins, redownload Rawr 2.1.3 yet again.
Reposted 2.1.3 after fixing the expertise rating conversion, it got missed, was still using level 70 conversion ratio.
The stats being slightly off is due to us not having base stats for all races; it's using dwarf base stats for everyone right now. That's why you've off by +6str and -6agi. That explains a tiny bit of the missing crit as well. I don't know where the other 1% crit may be from right now, but I let Zurm to check on that.

Bear model 3.04 back calculations in 2.1.3 RAWR
It seems like the calculation for backs in the bear model is multiplying against the full item armor and not the ilevel armor - which is keeping the high armor cloaks too high on the list when you select the WoW 3.04 Armor Mode.
For example, the Cloak of the shadowed Sun is ilevel 213 which had a base armor of 154 - so the armor multiplier due to talents should be applied to 154 and the other 336 armor is bonus armor and not affected by the multiplier. I noticed this because I expected the Platinum Mesh Cloak to be much higher on the list in the 3.04 mode and right now it is actually lower.
At least this is my understanding from reading GC's posts.

Please, everyone, at least give a quick look around to see if the issue you're about to post has already been discussed. As discussed in every place of discussion about Rawr already, including within the last 3 pages here, Rawr doesn't yet know the difference between base and bonus armor, so multiplies all of cloak armor instead of just its base armor.

For the tankadin module:
1. Are diminishing returns considered in the calculations?
2. I noticed that the combat table will max out at 100% - is there a way we can see how much block %/rating over the cap we are?
3. This is more general Rawr related - The items are really slow whenever I try to filter/update/fill sockets/pretty much anything. I think part of this is because there are so many items from TBC and so many duplicates of those items. We probably really don't need all those items in there, but I can't find a way to purge them automatically. Any suggestions?
4. Somewhat related to above - is there a way to purge all duplicates for all items? Purging dupes one item at a time is pretty time consuming
Thanks!
