Is anyone else having issues in Rawr.Moonkin? Specifically when it comes to fist weapons and adding them? (In my case, I picked up Wraith Strike.)
I've gone to tools > Refine types of items listed, and unfortunately fist weapons is not a checkable item.
Is this a known issue or is there any other way around it besides editing the item itself to be shown as a dagger or mace?

Known issue, and current solution is as you say, edit it to be a dagger or mace. Next release should handle this automagically.

on rawr.mage, it is rating Extract of Necromatic Power very low because its only counting the Crit value on the item and not the proc. I'm not sure how you want to weight the proc (esp since its worthless to nonfire mages, but uber to fire mages imo - we have 3 or 4 dots up most of the time). Since its value is based on the mage's spec this might be hard to fix(?)
Anyway, I'd like to find out how it compares to Embrace of the Spider, etc, so is this possibly getting looked at?

Hey all. So for a while, Rawr.Cat has found the best rotation to include Mangle only for combo points, not shred, for most ferals, with either 2T6 or Imp Mangle. That has disagreed with theorycraft from other major sources (Toskk's for example). I didn't find anything myself to explain the difference, and I asked Toskk and others to check Rawr's calculations to see if they found anything. Well, they did; I forgot the Mangle multiplier on Shred. Silly mistake, I'm beating myself up for missing something so obvious, but that's what it is. So, until we get a new version out, here's how you can adjust the calculations for yourself. There are two ways to do it. If you're not sure which you want, use Option A.
Option A (if you haven't modified Rawr's buff cache)
Close Rawr, download this new BuffCache.xml file: http://dl-client.getdropbox.com/u/38028/BuffCache.xml
Place it in the Rawr/Data/ folder, and relaunch Rawr. There'll now be a new buff, "30% Shred Damage (fix for 2.1.3 bug)". Check that buff, and you'll be good to go.
Option B (if you have modified Rawr's buff cache, and want to preserve your changes)
Close Rawr, open your BuffCache.xml file in a text editor, and add this additional buff (right after the 2nd line of the file, "<ArrayOfBuff...etc"):
<Buff>
<Name>30% Shred Damage (fix for 2.1.3 bug)</Name>
<Group>Shred Damage Fix</Group>
<Stats>
<Stamina>0.01</Stamina>
<BonusShredDamageMultiplier>0.3</BonusShredDamageMultiplier>
</Stats>
<SetThreshold>0</SetThreshold>
<Improvements />
<IsCustom>true</IsCustom>
<ConflictingBuffs>
<string>Shred Damage Fix</string>
</ConflictingBuffs>
</Buff>
Relaunch Rawr, and check the new buff. Your calculations should now be correct.
Again, sorry that a wrong calculation like this made it to release.

Form-specific gemming?
Is there any way to tweak the game files (or, absent that, any chance a feature could be implemented at some point) to allow for custom gem combinations that only show up in particular forms? While it's technically possible for me to delete every single instance of a DPS-gemmed caster item in my Tree profile, and likewise technically possible for me to reset my custom gems every time I switch models, it's mind-numbingly tedious. At the same time, it's painful to have to wade through dozens of "upgrades" that have inappropriate gems, so filtering is important.
Thanks for all the hard work. I love Rawr and recommend it to everyone I can.

Yes and no. The end result of what you're looking for is coming in Rawr 2.2, but not in the way you describe.

I am having an issue with rawr moonkin.
The buffs are set, fight length is short(3 minutes). None of the rotations are going oom.
Relative stat values are:
spell power 1.47
haste 0.96
Crit 0.77
Int 0.47
spirit 0.24
Hit 0.00
Splint-Bound leggings with 23 spell power gem in red socket
Yellow socket gems and DPS values:
10 int/12 spell power 266.36
10 hit/12 spell power 261.18
10 haste/12 spell power 252.44
This is compared to current equipped legs Giant-Friend legs that have no hit, less int, no spirit
Any ideas why gems with useless int and hit are rated higher than the one with haste?
Edit: Downloaded 2.1.4, loaded from armory, set fight up the same, Gemmings are now acting as expected.

Downloaded latest version of Rawr. When I run it, I get a message that a new version "2.1.3.0" exists.
I also can't seem to delete item gemings using Set Default Gems. It worked once when Cat model was selected, but I get different items for Bear and cannot clean them up automatically.
Edit: I had [Helm of the Vast Legions] checked as available. Whenever I tried to remove other gems they would not go away. When I unchecked them as available and tried again, it seemed to work.

Oops, sorry about that new version notification; forgot to update the website's current version code. Should be fixed now.
I'm not sure what problem you're describing about Set Default Gems; I don't know of any issue like that at the moment, but will look into it. That said, we're overhauling how Rawr handles gemmings for 2.2, and I doubt there'll be a 2.1.5.

Confirmed... the "Delete non-listed Gemmings" option does not work on items that are marked as available. Going back to 2.1.3 it has the same behavior. I guess I was not expecting it.

For clarification: This isn`t updated for the armor nerf at PTR isn`t it? Just hit 80 today and I don`t want to craft something that will be crap in some days
Nevermind, great tool. It really helps me to check gear updates for my little bear.

There's a 3.0.4 (3.0.8) mode in Bear, but it's not totally accurate. It's a good ballpark value for all slots except back. (It doesn't know the difference between base and bonus armor yet, multiplies it all)

First off i would like to say. Holy crap. This program is amazing. I thank you so much astrylian for spending the amount of time you have on this. It's mindblowing how complete it is. I was referred to it by a friend and i am in love with it now haha. But i have a problem.
Now i know i probably am i complete 100% Idiot for not being able to find this, but how do i switch between the different rawr templates. I.E., Rawr.Bear and Rawr.Tree and Rawr.Moonkin? I Feel ridiculously dumb for not being able to figure this out lol.
Thanks for any help I may get on this.

I do have two, quick questions:
1.) When updating to a new version, is it safe to extract the new files to the existing Rawr-folder and overwrite the old files, or should one always create a new folder and start all over again? And/Or is is safe to load previously saved files with a new version, or may I run into troubles when doing that?
2.) Sometimes it happens that an item I'm looking for is not in the database. I can easily add the item manually, but for some reason not equip it. It doesn't show up in the list, though I just added it to the DB. What am I doing wrong?
PS: Thanks for all your efforts again!

Near the top of the Stats tab are dropdown for Race, Class, and Model. Model is what you're looking for.

1) Yes and no. If you have problems, starting from a new folder is the first thing to try, yes, but *most* of the time, you should be able to use your old data xml files.
2) An item needs to be 'relevant' to the model, and not be filtered out, in order to show up. Relevant means it has any stats that are considered useful by the model. The filtering is more likely your problem. I released 2.1.4 with BC and Classing items turned off by default; in the top right of the charts is a dropdown to turn on or off filters. You can edit those filters in the Tools > Edit Item Filters.. dialog.

Correct, those are in the ItemFilters.xml file. (However, there are now WotLK filters in the latest default ItemFilters.xml, best to start from there, probably)

Polar Set Ranking
If you're a druid (and reading these forums) you've heard about the inherent ranking 'problem' with the polar set. It's got tons of stamina and since stamina is very good for druids all three pieces are ranked highly by Rawr -- and other programs.
Since most the posts I've read concerning this discrepancy say 'gear for stamina until you have enough' perhaps Rawr could implement the idea of enough stamina as an option. This could be done by adding another text box to the Options tab that gives a level of HP at which to stop valuing stamina. Or are the formulas for bear not that simple?
From what I've read it would seem that 35k HP (or perhaps 45k HP since Rawr counts all the raid buffs as well) might be a good default setting for such a box.
Thanks again for such a wonderful tool!
