2.3 changes:
According to
SimulationCraft at 1400 +dmg, 10 haste is worth ~5.08 dmg
MSD is listed as 30.9 while CSD is listed at 9.8, so all metas will remain MSD, but numbers are updated and list reordered
Updated all set bonuses, trinkets, procs
Changed the formula for calculations slightly(same results, just less multiplying/dividing)
Haste items are followed by a "
[H]"
We may have undervalued especially spell hit somewhere, cause it's so easy to get.
Always aim to get near (in other words never be lower than) the spellhit cap, which is at 76 spell hit rating with 5/5 Shadow Focus.
If Shadow Power is not maxed then DPS may be increased by obtaining enough hit rating to drop a point out of Shadow Focus as long as less than 10.79 pseudodmg is sacrificed. This assumes 4 or more points in Imp Mind Blast and a spell cycle in which MB and SW:D are kept on cooldown.

Mefadin helped Aevie with adding some math and wrote: "
Additionally, I did the math for set bonuses. Pieces are first calculated alone. Then if a bonus exists for a 2 pieces of a set, half of the bonus is added to the piece. If a bonus exists for only 4 pieces of a set, a quarter of the bonus is added to the piece. If both a 2 and 4-piece bonus exists then the bonuses are summed together and a fourth of the total is added to the piece."
- When we calculate we use these values & this template:
* 6.14 crit rating = 1 dmg (with SW:D in rotation)
* 10 haste = 5.08 spelldmg (presuming ~1400 dmg)
* 10 spirit = 1.1 dmg (1 dmg without kings with imp DS)
* 70 int = 1 crit = ~3.85 dmg (3.5 dmg without kings)
* dmg + crit/6.14 + int*0.055 + spirit*0.11 + haste*.508 + sockets [+12 gems] + meta [Mystical Skyfire Diamond]
This list does not take +stamina or mp5/regen into account in determining an item's value. Your shadow priest is your character and if you feel a certain item here works better for your playstyle than another, then go for it. We have assembled this list using a specific criteria and it may vary from your priorities.
