If you attack twice as fast (100% haste) you would get 50% more rage. I am aware that the second term in the equation is haste dependent.
Has the leading term of the rage formula (damage/constantA) been proven to be effected by haste and I missed it? If so, can I get a simple link or page number/thread title to go read up on it?

I mean the rage per hit, not rage per seconds. I was a bit unclear.

Use a different browser and disable any/all antivirus software you have. It's not supposed to be downloading a zip file in the first place, it's supposed to be downloading a .ODS file. Either your browser or an antivirus software is intercepting the download and converting it to a zip file.
That being said, an XLS version in addition to the ODS version would be nice

I also tried putting in 25% of our hunter's agility which gets used for expose weakness, and that still brought me up to 2200-2300ish, which still seems abnormally high.
I'm also a bit weary about how crit and str are being compared. Lately I've hit what I consider to be really low crit levels (29% unbuffed in zerker stance) and the spreadsheet still claims I should go pure 10str in every socket. It just doesn't feel right, I don't know... thoughts?
|
Expose weakness is working fine. Enter 1 for expose weakness = yes and then enter the hunter's buffed agility. It takes that values and divides it by 4 and adds it into your attack power averages. If its giving you 600+ DPS there's something wrong.
On Strength vs Crit, Strength will give you higher output. Using some sunwell gear, and average raid buffs I have to enter in 360 additional strength for Crit to equal STR. I think you are just worried about not being able to hit rampage at the right time or are having problems with flurry or rage? You like to crit alot and see big numbers over all else?
A period ago when I dropped a lot of crit % for a gob more AP via gems and gear upgrades, I could really tell the difference.
But again, you can turn crit into personal preference, even if it doesnt do more damage according to the sheet.

So you want me to upload to two different sites every time I update? No thanks, Sorry man. Try emailing it to your work from your home. Or I can personally email you the latest version.

Sorry, I wasn't specificly asking for you to do it, I know some times there are multiple locations to a file which are generated by fans of the file.
If I PM you my work email address, would you be so kind?

Is the 200 ap buff from the shattered sun pendant of might already implemented? It does't seem to add the proc yet.
In one of the other sheets there has been a small dispute about usabilty aldor vs scyrer. Does anybody has numbers to back up any statements?
The scyrer version is still buggy, by the way. A warlock pulled teron while he buffed himself.

The opendocument file format that openoffice.org uses is a zip formatted file containing a few separate xml files. It seems that your OS is recognising the file as a zip from it's header and presenting it to you as a folder. Your OS is wrong in this case, and you need to convince it to stop doing this for opendocument files. I'm not a Mac user so I can't help you with how to do that.

Most of the time people that do not have Openoffice ask the same thing. Next time I'll be more helpful and not bother.

I'm pretty sure ODS is simply a renamed zip, set your browser to not automatically decompress or process downloaded files. You can also try to zip/compress it again and change the .zip to .ods

I was bored (again), so I spent some time on simple tests:
Autoattacking only
Dualwielding Executioner on OH/Mongoose on MH (dont ask!^^)
[Darkmoon Card: Heroism] as a trinket
all in all 3 procs with no internal CD
Test1 (duration 01:29:13)
25 passive haste rating (1.59%)
5233 connecting hits
94 executioner procs (not counting reapplying procs; avg proc duration 17.6 sec) -> a proc every 57 sec
84 mongoose procs (avg proc duration 17.0 sec) -> a proc every 64 sec
332 heroism card procs -> a proc every 16 sec
Test2 (duration 01:15:40)
241 passive haste rating (15.28%)
5063 connecting hits
73 executioner procs (avg proc duration 18.7 sec) -> a proc every 62 sec
66 mongoose procs (avg proc duration 18.4 sec) -> a proc every 69 sec
279 heroism card procs -> a proc every 16 sec
Note: when comparing avg enchant proc duration one could suppose that there were more reapplying proc in the hasted gear. This could explain the differences in sec/proc observed.
The card proc has no duration, hence no reapplying "count problem".

Did you have flurry for these tests? Haste and flurry should be tested separately I think.

Hello,
i have a question regard the Mainhand for a Furry Warrior. Iam well SSC/Tk geard, with a bit BT and Hyal Gear.
When i test the Spreadsheet , Dragonstrike is the best Mainhand for me except the Iillidan Blade. Can this be True ?
At MaxDPS.com - News Vanirs Mainhand is a lot better then Dragonstrike. How can a Blacksmith Weapon superior to a BT/Hyal Mainhand ?
Thanks a lot,
Bettarg

Yes, again for the fifteenth time, the dragonstrike proc scales with your gear and buffs. Each time you upgrade your gear, the dragonstrike upgrades with it. This is how it works in the current sheet. Proc rates with IAS effects are being worked on, so it may change slightly once the correct mechanic is found.
Suic., I need to know the speeds of your weapons please.
The numbers don't make sense to me still.. Setting up a ratios of your tests show no matches for a mechanic.
New version up with important fixes on accuracy.
