My goals are 5-man content, heroics, maybe some Kara raids, and world pvp/BGs periodically. I'm not looking for a pure raiding build. I've seen a lot of numbers tossed around (44/10/7, 41/13/7) and while I can guess at what they contain, I've never seen a good spec actually linked so that I can see the point allocation.
Going to miss my precious MoD and Camo, but I think I'll survive.

I agree with Asgorath for the most part.
1) The Synergy between a 5CP Imp Kidney Shot, Find Weakness and unleashing a Cold Blood Mutilate is not something to be missed.
2) I think it's worth the points when you're leveling, when putting more than 41 points into Assassination is more worthwhile than putting them into Combat and Subtlety (past Opportunity) because you don't have access to enough points to get the mid tier talents.
3) I really wouldn't trade my 3/3 Ruthlessness, 4cp finishers are well worth executing in a mutilate build, and with a solid crit rate you will be using a LOT of finishers (keeping Find Weakness up is a key tactic), so winding up with a 60% chance to use a finisher, gain 1cp, mutilate and immediately use another strong finisher is avery nice.
4) I'm one of those dagger only rogues that will never give up 2/2 Imp SS for just 2% more dodge. The utility of it is just too great.
I run a 41/13/7 build. Which I think is very strong overall, I do a fair bit of arena even though my profile is bugged and having Imp Sprint is lovely.
