Is there any scores for a "post wotlk"-spreadsheet? Since it took about 2 or 3 months after patch 2.0 to actually release BC, it would be great to have an idea of the best possible gear after 3.0 has been relased.
Would it maybe even possible to implementate a "no clipping"-rotation into the spreadsheet (with selectable Arcane and / or Multi-Shot)? I know that this wouldn't be a real value (because Blizzard annouced a nerf to Steady Shot), but it would give a rough idea of how haste makes up with other stats like armor penetration or agility...

Hi Guys,

I am new here so perhaps someone has already found the answer for this...
I am using Mac Leopard and OpenOffice to open up the spreadsheet...

But it seems not to be working... After pressing "Load gear from armory" for example, it shows an error message (sorry, i am at work now so don't remember quite clear the error message) and opens up a "debug" window showing where the error is...

have anyone tested in this environment (Mac-oppenoffice)?

Yeah, I run the same setup. I get the error too. I have to set up the spreadsheet on my PC at work and then email it to my Mac at home. There are some Windows/Microsoft specific calls in the macros that don't jive with pure OO (i.e. platform independence).

Well, I am actually using the proper oppenoffice version(I believe is .ods extension)... But I guess it is not compatible to mac... :/ (I am not that keen to install micro$oft in my mac *grin*)

Any other idea?

Yes, the current OpenOffice version won't work properly with a Mac. It is mainly because of the type of object that is created. For example:

Set oMSXML = CreateObject("MSXML2.DOMDocument")

This is from the GetDataXLS() function. The MSXML2 library is being used to create an XML object of that type. Unfortunately, this library doesn't exist on a Mac. There's got to be an OpenOffice compatible XML library that it can be replaced with (especially since the OpenOffice document format is based off of XML!). I'm just not sure what it is. I'll do some digging and to see if I can find it.

I put all the new pvp gear into the custom page of the v49 spread sheet to evaluate them for pve, as several of the s4 items are better for pve than anything to which most people have access. Then I can just select custom item from the drop down to use pvp gear as if it was already added. If anyone wants a copy of that instead of doing it themselves, PM me an email address and I'll either email it or if a bunch want it I'll host it somewhere.

Hi,

On the gear sheet add the following procedure :

Private Sub Worksheet_BeforeDoubleClick(ByVal Target As Range, Cancel As Boolean)
Set ie = CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application")
ie.Navigate "http://www.wowhead.com/?search=" + Target
Cancel = True
End Sub

Now if you double click on any item on the gear sheet, it will open that item in the internet explorer.

I feel like an idiot for asking this, since i am sure the solution will be incredibly obvious, but....

I cannot seem to get the Shot Rotation buttons on the Shot Rotation tab to work, as well as the "Export To File"/"Import From File" buttons on the settings and results tab to work.

I am assuming it's something that needs to be unlocked on the spreadsheet that i have completely overlooked, but some help would be great.

Your Macro security is set high, set it to lower, should work fine.

The last update was 2 months ago. Has Cheeky abandoned developing the spreadsheet? I read he had some stuff fixed but that was more than a month ago and I haven't read anything else on the subject since.

I'm trying to print the shot rotation that the spreadsheet came up with... i have it open in excel and when i try to print it only prints like a couple blocks on each page any ideas?

I was lead to believe in this thread that Adamantite Weightstone would work on our melee weapons and it would increase our dps by buffing our RAP and Crit however when i tried to put that on my Dagger of Bad Mojo it would not work. did blizzard fix this 'bug'? was forced to put the righteous and mana oil on my 2 daggers

Weightstone only work on blunt weapons, which include Fist Weapons. You'll probably need Vanir's Fists to make it viable.

My knowledge about Excel isn't any good, so I need some help. Whenever I'm done putting in the gear and wants to save the profile, the next time I open Excel again I find it unsaved, even if I load the profile, it's still the same as if I never saved anything.
