My tests indicate that in 2.2 RED still applies to arcane shot, but as a special case. It's additive instead of multiplicative for arcane shot while remaining multiplicative for all other attacks.

Was wondering if Curse of Shadow is added in the spreadsheet. It increases dps of 1:1.5 rotations with imp arcane shot greatly.

On at least the Open Office version, Twinblade of the Phoenix is bugged; it uses the stats for the Twin-Bladed Ripper instead.

That is due to an alphabitizing mistake. I have changed the way lookups work to prevent these from happening in the future.

I'm completely new to this whole spreadsheet thing. When I tried to open it on my computer I got an error message (see below.)

Any idea what this might mean?

What program did you use to open it? There are portions of the spreadsheet that are password protected, but you should be able to open and use it in either Open Office or Microsoft Excel.

are both of those programs things I have to go out and buy or are there any downloads?

OpenOffice is free, but does not support macros.
There is supposedly a OpenOffice version from Novell that does support macros, but it requires some sort of registration.

I noticed there seems to be a slight problem with the latency figure. It seems to apply against autoshots? This is most easily seen by setting the shot rotation to auto only, then changing the latency value. I believe I back-tracked it to the WeightShotsPerSecond value from the DST calculations, but got a little overwhelmed there =)

For reference, I'm using a 41/20 build, with an Hourglass & Bloodlust Brooch as trinkets, if that figures in.

I apply latency to everything. Not sure if it matters on Auto Shot unless you macro-spam, but you'd have to be running a pretty high latency figure to see it on just Auto Shots. I'll think about it some more though.

Version 31 (both regular and OO) is available.

I did not yet incorporate all the bugs found here, there were a few infrastructure changes I focused on. There is also a set of basic instructions which should get posted to the top of the thread soon.

Change Log:
- Corrected item stats ([Band of the Eternal Champion], [Fel Edged Battleaxe], [Grand Marshal's Chain Gauntlets])
- Converted gear matrix to use VLOOKUP instead of LOOKUP. This will allow for more features to be added later.
- Gear sets now save race, talent spec, shot rotations (all 4), and Pet details.
- Added ability to Export and Import all 5 profiles. This only loads them into the database, to see the information you need to Load the specific profile back on the Gear tab. The file CheekyHunterDPS.log is created/read in the My Documents directory.
- Corrected bug in calculating shot numbers for DST rotations.
- Renamed Shot Rotation buttons to better correspond with common naming.
- Changed MaxSpecials rotation to build 1:1.X rotations based on whether or not the user wishes to include Multi or Arcane Shots.
- Changed PriorityRotation to not allow clipping, but only sub in Arcane and/or Multi when the next Steady Shot will not clip because of GCD.
- Provide a 1:1.X rotation button for Quick Shots.
- Updated Scorpid Poison rank 5 to be 55 damage over 10 seconds.
- Changed the Spell Coefficient for Scorpid poison to be 0.1
- Moved custom target information in 'Settings and Results' tab. Display effective reduction values for both Hunter and Pet.

Void Reaver Greaves looses the sockets when you change them out for another leggings and then change them back.

Edit: Actually can't even change the gems on it.

Is this for the Open Office version, or Excel? I'm not seeing any issue with Legs and sockets.

Version 33's Shot Rotation tab does not seem to properly plot 1:1.X rotations. Flipping Multi and Arcane on and off does nothing to the result. It continues to act as though only Multi is in use.

Yep. I had moved the cells around and not updated their locations in the code. I will get version 34 posted with a correction in the next few minutes.

Done:
- Fixed bug in 1:1.5 Shot Rotation
- Corrected VLOOKUP() problem with Dragonstalker's Belt.
- Corrected Item Stats (Spiteblade).

Cheeky can you model Kiss of the spider please? Im assuming it's not modeled because when i swapped to it from bloodlust broach i lost around 40dps, which shouldn't be the case.

Internal cool down

Then I can start to model it, but understand it will require a specific rotation while active, and I'm pretty loathe to add additional Shot Rotations, as they increase the complexity at a 2^n rate.

yeah no hurry my overworked friend, its purely for nostalgia. Were running pug naxxes again and my hunter RL ninjad one this week, but with its droprate im still more likely to get exalted with ashtongue b4 i see it again.


edit: And yeah i just wanted a fairly rough analysis between it and the other trinkets i can get for a dps comparison.
