Change Log:
- Changed more item names to match Armory values.
- Fixed the Improved Hunter's Mark debuff to not be 110 Mp5, and also work for pet DPS if it is better than the Hunter's own Improved Hunter's Mark.
- Actually check to see if you have a Darkmoon Card: Wrath equipped and factor in it's gain to crit %.
- Redid profiles to include Health, Mana, Resilience and Armor.
- Added button to clear all buffs.
- The only default debuff is 5 stacks of Sunder Armor.
- Really, really, really fixed the buff for Spicy Hot Talbuk.
- New version of exported data file. Old versions are not currently supported. I'm not even sure anyone uses this feature.
- Support new 4-piece Arena armor set bonus.
- Cleared up ambiguity in melee enchant "Major Intellect".
- Fixed timing for Priority rotations and Dragonspine Trophy.
- Screech is now effected by target's armor.
- Pets now benefit from Improved Faerie Fire.
- Added Strength and Agility Scroll buffs for pet.
- Mp5 from buffs/debuffs is now properly accounted for.
- Adjusted Draenei base Agility to 148.
- Treat Badge of Tenacity as a flat +25 Agility. (Averaged out value of proc)
- Added new Ammo Pouches and Quivers.
- Changed PvP Gloves to be +5% damage on Multi-Shot.
I have a couple of questions I'd like some feedback on:
1 - Does anyone mind if I start removing some of the level 60 gear, like the [Backwood Helm]?
2 - Does anyone use the Import/Export feature? (Currently not supported for version 38 -> 39)

1 - As far as I am concerned, I never felt the need to make simulations with level 60 items (save maybe a couple of trinkets).
2 - I don't. I could never make it work (I rename the .xls files once downloaded, so that the filename shows the version. That might be why). To be honest, the Import from Armory feature, and the time I spent playing around with your spreadsheet allow for very fast full re-filling in of the sheet. And I like to follow your gear upgrades avery time I get a new version

Thanks Cheeky. I wouldn't worry about the import/export or the level 60 items. I doubt many people are using either of them.

Any possibility of adding scorpid sting to the shot pulldown menu? I have that up continuously on most bosses and it greatly affects my rotation. Would be convenient if it had a 20 sec cooldown since that's how often you need to cast it.

I don't know if someone already asked you this, but do you think it would be possible to add a feature to manage burst effects in the spreadheet. Currently, the various trinkets & hunter abilities are modelised to represent an average value over time when used alone. There is no burst management that modelise the benefits of using them at the same time. (ie: rapid fire + bestial wrath + trinket will provide more dps than rapid fire, then bestial wrath, then trinket)
I know if would be quite difficult to modelise this since there are different cooldowns but it would already be a nice step to have a way to modelise a customizable burst mode. For example, let us define what trinkets, abilities or buffs we want to use and see how much dps it adds to use them alltogether.

I actually use the import/export feature, since I find it faster to load all my settings/gear into a new version of the spreadsheet than waiting for a slow Armory to respond. If this is a lot of work, it wouldn't bother me if it went away. I just find it the most convenient way to quickly load all my settings/gear/enchants/gems when a new version comes out.

That´s an interesting question you raise enia. I´ve also been thinking about that for a long time. Especially the question, if it´s better to wait one minute with rapid fire (from the second on) to be able to use it combined with BW & BB (meaning a tripel-activation every 4 minutes) or to use rapid fire on every single CD, and therefore only have an activation of all 3 combined every 6 minutes. I haven´t yet come to a conclusion which provides better results, though. Can anybody provide a model to approximate this case?

I have 2 problems to report:
- There is a typo in 'Draenei' (which is spelled Dranei in the spreadsheet)
- I was unable to load my gear from the Armory (EU), but I'm not sure if the problem comes from the sheet or the armory website. The armory seems to work fine though.
I've got a runtime error #91: Object variable or With block variable not set
When I click on debug, it shows this:

I'll add Scorpid Sting to the Shot Rotation list. Should be fairly easy to do.

If you turn off averaging out trinkets and TBW, you can hand activate all of them (except [Badge of Tenacity]) along with Rapid Fire, TBW, etc. from the Shot Rotation. The best way to do this is to clear all shots, skip the first one, and start selecting effects and shots after that. You'll be able to see in the Proc Expire matrix when your effects will end. At that point leave the rest of the Shot Rotation blank and you can see the DPS during your "burst" time.
Doing that for my gear takes a typical 868.21 DPS Auto:Steady rotation to 1114.92 DPS over 18 seconds. (I did not carefully watch different shot cool downs to optimize this, just a quick check of the ability to do analysis like this with the spreadsheet as it is now.) This ability is available in all shot rotations in the spreadsheet.
You skip the first shot because I use it to close the timing loop for the whole rotation, and Rapid Fire has a 3 minute cool down, not something you want factored into the DPS calculations for this exercise.

It will work going forward. It's just that pre-39 can't be loaded into post-39. I estimated 8 hours of work to make that happen, and it wouldn't have been fun work either!

Cheeky, I've been able to modelise bursts with the hunter abilities using the method you explained and it works pretty well. However, there are still some burst effects that I cannot insert in the process. Do you think it would be possible to add custom burst effects somewhere or add the common burst effects such as bloodlust/heroism, haste potions, drums of battle, drums of war, ... ?
PS: The "Badge of the Swarmguard" trinket is also missing in the list. I don't know if it would be hard to include it, but the custom burst effects I was refering might be an alternative to give an idea on how it affects the burst.

For the effects you list, I'd add them as temporary haste through the hand-modifiable blue row on the 'Gear' tab. It's not ideal, but I really am avoiding having to add more abilities to manage in the Shot Rotations. It gets very complicated, very fast.
If you can come up with a good model for the [Badge of the Swarmguard], I'll add it. But I don't have one to test out proc rates, etc.

This is my 1st post here so I hope to make this short and simple.
First of all thanks Cheeky, the spreadsheet is awesome and has saved me so much time, effort, experimentation and gold.
Now if i recall correctly serpent sting gets a damage bonus based on attack power, so proc trinkets like HotU,etc.. should increase the total damage of serpent sting. Does that make it worthy of inclusion into a shot rotation?
(Not directed to Cheeky specifically) I'm survival/MM 41/20 and have been messing around with 1:1.5 macros but can't seem to get it to work properly. I know latency has some role to play, but the latency variations in the spreadsheet says i should be able to use a 1:1.5 since my latency averaged 300-500ms. As is now i'm choosing my shots manually and it does okay but i based on the discussions here a macro seems to be the way to go, so i want to get that working a.s.ap. Any ideas?

While the base damage is pretty decent, Serpent Sting only scales with 10% of your AP, the mana cost is pretty high and it cannot crit. All together these make it inferior to all of your other options in a 1:1.5 rotation.

does anyone really use the spreadsheets to top dps pre 70? I mean, sure you can optimize gear but only so much. So, IMO delete most if not all 60 items.

Cheeky, thank you for your masterpiece. It has helped me make a lot of decisions and made me understand my class better as well.
And since you asked a question related to something that has been bothering me for awhile, I have a request, if possible, to unlock the spreadsheet (or parts of it) so that we could delete items from the dropdowns. For me probably 90% of the items will never be used, it's just irritating to scroll or search for an item in those huge lists.

my feedback:
1. pet can be fed using Kibler's bits (+20 str)
2. it is possible to apply more scrolls both on the pet and hunter? (at least str/agi on the pet)
3. could you explain how do you manage Darkmoon card - Crusade? it adds both AP and spelldmg during time

what is source of impact of Curse of shadows on DPS without arcane shot (I set auto only and still got raise)? I could understand impact of various target spell debuffs connected to Lightning breath thou...

On the Gear tab,
Cell A22 shows Red Socket 1, however my Meta gem (Relentless Earthstorm Diamond) loads next to it in B22
Cell A23 shows Meta Socket 2, however my Delicate Living Ruby (+8 AGI) loads next to it in B23

It should never turn any of the item names to "???", there's no way the software can do that. what error are you getting?
