Simple trinket mod

All I want to do is have a floating window of my 2 equipped trinket items with a key bound to activate #1 and a different key bound to activate #2. I know I can do the latter with macros, but I'd prefer to have a nice simple mod to do this instead.

While I have my trinkets bound to hotkeys via non-visible hotbars, I do also have a floating window to show me which ones I have. I use Itemrack for this, for two reasons. One, on mouseover, you can change trinkets. Two, I already had it installed to manage overall gearsets.

To do this with Itemrack, simply open up your character sheet, and hold down alt and click the trinket(s). You can then move and resize the floating bar/window as you will, then lock it to prevent accidental movings.

I think I could use Itemrack to bind hotkeys to those, but I'm really not sure, and haven't investigated that part of it.

Trinketmenu is pretty close to what I have been looking for, but random question in case I can get the ideal solution.

I use a Bartender3 bar in the middle of the screen with scaled up buttons for my trinkets, last stand, rampage, etc -- anything that needs to be front and center. Unfortunately I end up with a slot for all the possible trinkets (offensive and defensive). I can manually update them when I swap trinkets (different defense, block, etc types of things). What would be perfect is to bind a bartender button to be "Whatever is in TrinketSlot1, and display the icon/cooldown of whatever is in TrinketSlot1 so I know what it is" -- any possibility for something like this?

I'm not certain (I'm not at home to check), but I think you could make a macro for your desired functions, Tharas.

/use 13
(This will trigger your top trinket slot.)

/use 14
(This will trigger your bottom trinket slot.)

I'm not sure if you can use the #show line to make the buttons update with the appropriate cooldowns when you swap the trinkets, though. Maybe someone more knowledgable will step in and finish this (rather unhelpful) post.

Once there, click in the "Options" tab, then in the "Bindings" button, and follow the instructions.
