In the olden days, in WoW 1.0, I used TC alot, since it's good for quick assesment of basic stuff, such as DPM/DPS, when you're too lazy to pull out a calc and do the simple stuff yourself.

So, I'm curious if anyone has a working TC? I've downloaded the one from curse-gaming, which *seems* maintained, but it seems to have values that contradict the "official" Blizzard Char Panel numbers. For instance, Blizz says I have right now, a baseline crit for Fire at 32.24% whereas TC thinks my Fireball has a 31.6%. It also doesn't account for Arcane Impact, giving AB a lower crit rating then what it actually has.

So ... I feel reluctant to trust the numbers it puts out.

Does anyone have any other similar mods? TC does alot of fancy stuff I don't really need I guess. I'm mostly interested in *accurate* DPS/DPM numbers, coefficients, things like these.

If you're a caster, DrDamage is supposed to be the cats meow:

Nothing is ever 100% accurate because of a few factors, including luck and the fact that addons can never know data to be 100% accurate. As for getting 100% accurate DPM, you're better off reading some statistical data collected by a mod like SWStats and evaluating the information you collect in a raid/party/solo that way.

Well, "true" DPM is perhaps hard to calculate, I'd accept that it did "simple" stuff, such as Arcane Concentration becomes a clear cut 10% saving, Master of Elements would become a (CritRate*0.3)% savings.

Anyrate, thanks for the link, I shall check it out :)

TC2 is up and down. It's constantly improving, but if anyone knows of something better that is melee-friendly, I'd give it a shot :)
