Most of my guild has moved on from CTraid onto bigger and better raid mods, but a big problem with that is that we usually dont have tanking windows up for raids. It's not a huge deal, but it's a nice feature that we miss from the old CTRaid.

Does anyone know of a light, standalone Tank/Assist window mod (Ace or otherwise) that would be good for us? Preferably something easy to use and nonintrusive as we have a lot of mod-unfriendly folks =P.

There is a mod called TWFocus but I think it only gives you one assist box. You can get it from the WoW Interface site.

Apart from that, oRA2 supports CTRA-style tank windows, i.e. you can set multiple tank windows, you also get the various CTRA raid status interfaces, but is significantly more lightweight. I use oRA2 and sRaidFrames to take care of the various things CTRA did.

oRA2 can basically be thought of as everything CTRA did, with the raidframes and bossmods stripped out. It handles all the other stuff - cooldown notification, rez monitors, tank/assist frames, ready/item/version/durability/zone/vote checks, etc.

Is there some way to make the oRA tank windows look better? I'd kinda like something that looks more like CTRA used to (with an actual box, rather than just some health bars).

You can configure them to some extent; they're working on additional options last I knew, but it's not exactly high priority.

Try /ora maintank frames backdrop - I think that'll toggle on a background box for you.

Also try /ora maintank frames style - this may just be a placeholder, or it may give some style options to play with.

If you have Fubar/DeuceCommander it's easy to set up tank targets. Target whoever is your MA then under Tank Lists go to Custom and click Add Target.

Really easy to use and does exactly what you need it to.

With X Perl theres a target window directly at the side of each party member which can be extremely handy in a heroic instance.

To add to the thread, I don't suppose anyone knows if there is anything like this for ag_uf or a standalone mod which emulates the same feature as XPerl?
