Raid Invite Organizer - Filtering a raid?

I just released my second mod, Raid Invite Organizer. Links for it are below. Basically it automates the guild and raid invite process without all the overhead and memory cost with oRA3, but I'm not going to go into that:

Here is what I wanted to open up for discussion on Elitist Jerks, however:
One of my "ideas" for a raid invite mod was filtering out PuG's or otherwise filtering a raid. The most basic use-case would be:
- Tell the mod "I want 3 tanks, 6 healers, 5 melee, 11 ranged."
- You announce to trade that you're making a VoA PuG.
- People whisper "invite" for an invite.
- Mod asks back "are you a tank, healer, or melee, or ranged?
- Player whispers back. If there's room, they get an invite. If not, they get told "full on xyz."

Now that's the basic use-case. Without going into a massive "omg gearscore? more like shitscore" - it would also be used by a lot of the WoW population to filter based on gearscore.

What other methods do people think should/should not be filtered in the raid formulation process? and what would actually be useful rather than "neat but not used"?

Well continuing with the VoA example the ability to filter classes as well could be useful. Since most of the time people will only want to bring 2 or 3 of each class(or 1 in the case of rainbow 10m).

I haven't looked at the mod yet so I'm unsure if it already does this but allowing you to post in different channels would be very useful. I run GDKP runs on my server and have created a channel specifically for it so being able to spam there easily would be nice as well.

I like the ideas! I will be sure to get this mod after work today.

If this mod doesn't have it already, it would be nice to have something that allows selecting loot rule criteria, and generating an organized message for the raid, or to broadcast to someone by a tell in a request for the rules. This is important because it assures people of the rules so they aren't concerned about you ninja looting, or if they try to say you did, etc. That way, GM's can intervene appropriately. Also features for recording names for continuation of a raid at a later date would be pretty useful. Keep up the good work!

If it's designed to be nearly fully automated for PuG purposes, you may desire temporary blacklists. For example, you need a full raid, list your required # of tanks, healers, ranged, melee. Raid fills quickly and have a single healing spot left and haven't had a chance to update your notice on a channel. A Feral Druid whispers "melee", gets declined. Tries "ranged" for their weak Boomkin offspec, gets declined. Whispers "healer", gets accepted. Having a Feral in Boomkin gear and spec trying to heal doesn't do any service to your PuG. Even if they're a good player and try really hard, it's not very helpful.

A blacklist for that specific raid formation after the 2nd whisper (mainspec/offspec) is probably advisable.

Rock: "We're sub-standard DPS. Nerf Paper, Scissors are fine."
Paper: "OMG, WTF, Scissors!"
Scissors: "Rock is OP and Paper are QQers. We need PvP buffs."
