Ammo saving mod

A long time ago I remember having a mod that would switch out your expensive ammo when you cast a shot that doesnt benefit from it. I never took much notice because in a raid I'd rarely use anything that needed it. Things have changed now and I'm interested to see what kind of difference a mod like this would make. Thing is i can't find it anywhere, I'm not even sure if it's possible with the ui changes. Anyone have any ideas?

Looks as though it is no longer a function now most likely due to the UI changes. Can't say for sure though as my Hunter is now an alt and I no longer keep up with the goings on in the Hunter Add-on world.

I think someone had a macro that would swap ammo on steady shots, so at worst you could do it with a macro, even if a mod can't do it. I don't have the macro handy sadly, but i think it just used /equip to switch between arrows before and after /cast

My macro:

#showtooltip Arcane Shot
/equip Sharp Arrow
/cast Arcane Shot
/equip Warden's Arrow

Modify to taste.
