Food buffs don't currently show up in the GUI Consumable check (but they're in the text output list). Can you add that in?

Given that Cyrect has explicitly stated he's not really working on this, can anyone speak to its current functionality? I'd like to give it a test drive, but I won't have an opportunity to look at it before raid time tonight. I'm just interested in knowing if it works well, what limitations or omissions exist, and what to expect overall.

I added the food buffs to the UI under consumables and I added shackle break to the polymorph checking (I should rename the polymorph option now I suppose).

I'm still planning on adding a private channel option to report flaskcheck results.

It worked really well when Cryect stopped working on it, and Treibh has only improved upon it.

Kudos to both of them. It's a damned useful addon for checking raid preparedness and knowing about the other little things (poly breaks, misdirects, etc) that happen. I recommend it!

My request is a more concise flaskcheck option - the existing one is great from knowing if people have flasks that do/don't make sense, but what I really care about sometimes is just if they have a flask/elixirs at all. Something quick that could say "Flasks: ____, No Flask/2 Elixirs: ____, One Elixir: ____, No flasks/Elixirs: ____"

The ability to redirect the text output to someplace else other than the main chat frame would be awesome.

I second this request. Thanks a ton for the recent updates to include checks for food, elixirs, etc. But if I am going to whisper the results to the raid leader, or do a quick check before a pull, I'd rather a condensed version. Something that prints out who has only 1 elixirs, no flasks/elixirs, and no food. Not what they are using, just how many of the buff they do/don't have. That would be more beneficial for our uses.

Thanks again for the addon and updates, BigBrother is an awesome addon

This is an amazing mod. Easily one of the best for managing raids, or even for normal raiders that just want to see the information it provides.

The new flasks (should!) be fixed as of a few minutes ago. I also added a quick flaskcheck option ('quickcheck') as requested by a few people above, added the ability to save your settings and added FuBar plug-in support.

Hi Treibh,

really nice addon. But I have one little problem. I never ever saw the "Consumables/Food/Flasks". Maybe because Im playing on a FR Client?

I like Big Brother a lot for my own reference, but get bitched out when directing the flask output to the raid before a pull in order to call people out for not using consumables.

It'd be great if there were an option for trimmed down output that would just show the people who weren't using any flasks/elixirs/food buffs (rather then the 20+ lines of output listing who's using what). [Woops, didn't see where you mentioned quickcheck above] As a corollary, being able to intelligently (casters only for ai, etc) announce unbuffed people for mark/fort/ai/maybe spirit based on if there's buff capable classes in the group would be a godsend (for spirit it would likely have to check if there were any priests in the group with spirit on themselves first before announcing people who didn't have it).

"/bb unbuffed raid" or something.

A secondary request would be a group range option on the output options. We often have more then groups 1-5 in the Raid group (for standby etc), and being able to filter it to the first 5 groups would make it a bit more manageable. Not hugely important, but handy.

"/bb flaskcheck raid 1-5"

For other usefull features, being able to turn on an announce to /raid or /rw for CC breakers and maybe misdirects would definitely be handy. As it usually goes to my frame and I call out people on vent when I notice it (which helps it happen less frequently as people know they will be called out for being stupid).

Oh oh and and and... I will love you long time if you found out a way of doing group restricted ready checks (maybe along the lines of "reply to this tell" or a fake ready check for other people running BB). For the same reasons as above with having extra people outside of groups 1-5, readychecks are a pain in the ass now due to extra people in the group.

Sorry, I just now saw this thread here, and have had these feature requests kicking around in my head for a while. The mod's great, and I appreciate what you've done so far.

Edit: I missed where you said you added quickcheck, didn't see the option last night. Thanks for adding it though!

Unaz: A few good ideas in your post - I'll try and look in to them in the coming weeks.

Curse: We don't have a French localization, just English, German and Korean. Because the mod has to compare the buff name to your applied buffs (rather than say and item id) then it won't work if the buff name shows up in French. Je parle francais, but I don't have a French client to get the names that Blizzard uses for the flask, elixir and food buffs. If you can help provide that I can add French localization.

This is an invaluable raid add-on for any raid leader. Thanks very much for creating it. I'm glad to see that you have added the new flasks. I was actually just logging in here to ask you to do so.

I've been having a problem with this mod since 2.2 (and using the latest versiosn from wowace).

The mod won't load ingame anymore since your "Ver 2.2 updates" and I'm having to revert to the older versions for it to work.

Not getting any pop errors for big brother, its selected to run in the "addon" button on character selection screen. I've deleated and redownloaded the newest copy of Big brother into the folder closed out wow reopened and still won't do anything or even show options doing /bb or /bigbrother

Works fine for me and I just installed it.

Is there a way for me to disable some of the checks? Like e.g. I don't always want to check if ppl are using food buffs.

Yeah think I must be missing something brother requires although I'm not sure what it could be since there are no error notices ;/

I have Ace2 and Ace installed, my "addon" says its there and its checked to load but once ingame its like it dosen't even exist

I'm not too familiar with the exact feature set, but does the Babble library handle buff name localizations for this? If so, it may be able to translate everything you need.

Some of the embedded libs are missing if you download from wowace for some reason, the following libs need embedding:

FuBarPlugin-2.0
AceDB-2.0
Dewdrop-2.0

Dewdrop-2.0 also needs adding to the embeds.xml. Only after I had done all this would the addon actually load.
