You almost certainly have another buggy addon that is tainting your unitframes.
|
EDIT: Was going to mention Kreoss's thing as well. I miss the big number on the target portrait of "Combo Points as a number" from the Nurfed Unit Frames. If there was a way to display combo points numerically, instead of graphically, that'd be a big help to me as well.

Add a text to the frame, position it appropriately, and set a DogTag format on it.
[Combos] is the tag you want.

I only just recently switched from X-Perl to Pitbull and so far I´m pretty happy with my new unitframe. There´s two things I´m missing though. First with X-Perl I used to be able to toggle raid frames shown/hidden with one key, second I could toggle between sort by class and sort by group for said raidframes.
I could propably solve the both problems if there was a slash command for the features already present in the raid module.

Sorry if it's already been asked, but is there a way to filter specific Buffs on raidframes, even if they are outside the sphere of your class? Also is there a way to hide buffs if debuffed?
I'm a rogue raidleader, and an indespensable part of SraidFrames is the ability to see at a glance who has fort/boS/Motw and who gets debuffed by what. This is accomplished in sraidframes by a small user-built filter for buffs, and an option to hide those buffs when the player is debuffed. I really don't think I could lead as effectively without this option.

Do you have any idea what addon this might be? Looking at my addons folder, the only addon that I have that might even relate to unit frames is Mob Info 2 which seems to be working just fine with Pitbull.
!!ImprovedErrorFrame, Ace2, ArkInventory, Autobar/Config, Bartender3, Bigwigs/modules, Cartographer, ClosetGnome, Confab, Clique, coolDown, DamageMeters, EnergyWatch, ErrorMonster, Fubar w/ modules, Gmail, Hemlock, Killlog, KTM, MobHealth, MobInfo2, LightHeaded, Omen, ORA2, oRogueHelper, RatingBuster, Recount, SCT, SCTD, simpleMinimap, Talented, TalentSafe, Tinytip.
None of them really seem likely to be messing with my unit frame texture.
That said, it looks like the gray frame is being placed above my PitBull, rather than replacing it, as it *mostly* covers my combo point bar and the mob's cast bar, with just a little bit peeking out from beneath.
Any suggestion on what to change would be very much appreciated.

I threw this up in the wowace forums a while ago, but never got a response.
Been getting this error for over a month now, and I can't seem to figure out why.
Use WAU to update. Deletes folders before installing, and using standalone libs.

Is Pitbull not unpacking for LOD functionality, or is that just that crappy swatter report not showing it? I ask because Aura, BarFader and EstimatedHeals should be in the PitBull folder already in that case. At one point they were 'extra' to PitBull but quite awhile ago they became part of the default package. Check your PitBull folder and if they are in there, then delete the ones outside the folder.

WAU auto unpacks everything.
That is to say plugins for mods get brought up to the top level (hence the huge list of addons all starting with pitbull, and cartographer, etc.)
I'll try deleteing all of the pitbull addons i have and having WAU redownload them (in case its just overlooking an out of date setup or something) when I get home from work today.
Edit:
That was it. The problem WAS that there were older revisions of the 3 mentioned addons still in my directory (which when removed fixed the problem), but WAU was redownloading them all the time. I had previously done full updates from WAU, but I forgot that my addon cache from WAU is stupid old (at least a month and a half), so it was probably still remembering the older addons, which are still in SVN.

Autobar is known to have/have had taint issues, that's the only one I recognise for which that's the case.
You can track down a mod causing taint problems by disabling mods and enabling them until the problem returns. Taint mapper can give more information but it's pretty low-level.

If it's not actually your pitbull frame then it might be a different type of error. What's the name of the frame? Hover over it and:
/print GetMouseFocus():GetName()

Could anyone try moving/disabling their PvP icon? I and a couple of other players I've talked to have noticed neither option is working for us using build r42443, and would like to confirm if this is a bug.

I seem to get a recurring issue with this mod, im unsure if it's just me, or others aswell, i've totally deleted pitbull and reisntalled multiple times, but it seems occasionally entire frames (i.e. target frame) will become one large distorted debuff icon, turning auras off will stop it happening, but i like to see auras on my target :S
I really love Pitbull however, apart from this issue, it does everything i could want, and haven't found an alternative that is as flexible

This happens to me on occasion (maybe twice a week), but only for 1-2 seconds, then it fixes itself again. It's just a short flickering, then it's normal again. I use the animated 3D portraits, if it's any help.

On a similar note as the problem above, I've had the distorted icon thing happen alongside with the Aura icons on my playerframe moving along with the Energy/FSR ticker shown on the power bar ... which as you can imagine gets a little old after a while. Any suggestions on how to fix that (other than just simply disabling the FSR/Energy blip)?

I love pitbull, but I'm having some problems setting up by buffs/debuffs to work how I'd like them.
Screenshot for reference:
Note: the buffs are only huge for ease of reference.
I have buffs set to top-left and my debuffs (don't have any in the pic) set to top. The debuffs show up on top of my health bar, but the buffs are to the left on top of the mini-map. Is there anyway to offset the buffs so i can put them directly next to the debuffs? If I set both to top, my first buff is directly on top of my first debuff.

I think the real problem here is that your UI takes up more than a third of your screen. Jesus.
EDIT: I guess it wasn't made clear that this post was a joke. I should have used a to make my facetiousness obvious.

Is there a way to save different raid layout and positioning configurations and load them? The Layout > Profile deal doesn't save position/width/size information. My reasoning is to have different raid layouts depending on the raid size.

It does save it but you have to either zone or reload your UI for it to actually make the changes.

Anyone know what optional modules or settings are the biggest hogs in pitbull?
Just downloading and installing PB has caused a significant amount of interface lag for myself and a friend of mine. Swapping back to ag_UF cleared it right up.

In my experience, and I'm sure in many others, Pitbull takes quite a while to set up and get the feel for how you like it. It's a very um... manipulative addon, which is a very good thing. You can turn off the modules that you don't want, so on and so forth.
To answer your question, I think the 3D picture is the biggest memory hog. I wouldn't imagine that it would bog down your system because it was built FOR low memory usage. I'd suggest you to try it again and configure it to your liking.
Have fun!

pet happiness bar
does pet happiness work in pitbull as it does in aguf i.e it only displays the color of the pet's happiness (green happy, red unhappy) or is there a special icon for it? I had problems with aguf pets happiness color not refreshing causing my pet to lose loyalty, since it was always at green on the frames.
ps. is there any addon out there that can add a pet happiness bar or icon to the interface so i wont have to rely on pitbull or aguf's pet bar
