This has happened to me with every unit frame mod i've tried.. probably even with the blizzard standard one(been a looooooooong time since i used that tho) I doubt it's a problem just within pitbull.

When this happens - do you have trouble looting the mob afterwards? I had this happen a lot especially in Terrokar Forest at the Blood Elves - and apparently it is simply a case of bugged mobs; nothing to do with the UI.

Correct yes, sometimes mobs will bug out in that they're there, but your client won't be receiving any information from what the mob is doing. You can attack them, they'll attack you back (Though you won't see this animated), and they lose health as normal serverside but not clientside, but you won't get any updates on them apart from them dying or not, and depending on your class the position they appeared to be frequently doesn't match the location they actually died at.

A relog can fix it though.

Is there a way to make the anchor when I have the party layout set to square not be all weird? Basically when I make a party with one other person, their frame is sort of in the middle of the square, when another person joins, their frames are still in the middle, finally when a third and fourth join, the frames look fine in their position. If this made sense to anyone, I basically want the first party frame to be in the same spot regardless of how many players are in the party. I can probably host screenshots if people want.

I checked my WAU, and it showed the lastest rev at 7 hours ago, and I'm almost positive it gets updated at least once a day. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by he's not working on it anymore.

They're mainly just very minor tweaks to extensions and bug fixes / preparation for 2.2, no actual development of the addon, and the Aura system is still a mess.

He'll openly tell you that he isn't really concentrating on the addon and which parts he would like to fix up and improve, but at the moment his focus is on Parrot :p

I have two questions / suggestions:

1) Is there a way to display a header on the raid parties to indicate what Group # it is?

2) Is there a way to move ALL the raid party frames at once? (sorta like linking them together so they move as one unit)


Also, I still have a problem importing profiles / settings. If I load settings from another unit frame type, it doesn't get the height/width settings. The same goes for profiles. It only saves certain information but ignores things like height, width, scale.

It's a shame when a developer is always moving on to their next "greatest" project, heck I have a whole team of the buggers working for me. Projects start of with loads of promise, features get added at a heady rate and then just when it's time to let it settle a little and deal with the small "niggles" they want to move on to the next thing because the project becomes boring.

Just need to find a way to tempt em back, I find letting another developer rewrite part of their "little baby" works wonders

He doesn't need to make Parrot, Parrot is already written. I'd like to add that Parrot is WoW addon perfection: World of Warcraft UI / Mods - The Unofficial World of Warcraft Mods site

Just change the version number in the .toc file and it should still work.

This should bring him back to Pitbull, hopefully.

ck's Parrot is a SCT-type addon and bares no relation to the mod you linked.

I'll assume you were just making an attempt at weak humor.

I am hoping you guys can help me a little. Pitbull frames have a custom text option, where you decide if you want to show lvl, name or any special combination. Anyone knows where I can find a list of possible code commands? Below is an example:

Is there a way to do vertical health bars in Pitbull? I'd like to make my pet's health bar look like it does in this UI: http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/3...7164548sz6.jpg
but I can't seem to figure out any way to do it with Pitbull, and I'd really not like to have to use the memory hogging Discord.

Oooo, that hurts. A SCT addon is nice and all, and Parrot is the best I've ever seen. But for me Pitbull provides WAY more value.

SCT's, to me, don't have either the continuing information value nor the graphical grasp-it-at-a-glance value of things like Pitbull, HUDs, DOT timers, etc. Some value, as I do use Blizzard's FCT, but it feels like the above-and-beyond features are redundant.

Please, please go back to Pitbull after a bit of a breather! I'd love to see a more sophisticated border/color scheme so I could see multiple auras and aggro. Perhaps the "blank" could even become a place where colors/icons live to indicate certain things.

Also, there's a bug where the combo points dot is displayed over top of a mob's healthbar sometimes, stretched out to fill the whole area. It looks like a yellow blob, and it took me a long time to figure out that it must be the combo point icon very distorted and pixelated.
