Sorry if this has been fixed since then and I didn't notice it (I didn't read the change logs today when I updated very carefully), but I was in Kara on Friday and threat wasn't resetting at all on Nightbane between phases.

Well, Pitbull does have a threat bar. I haven't been able to get the Threat bar working since 2.4. Not sure why. I haven't spent to much time playing with it though. Anyone else having the same problem?

Any insight?

I have this too, anyone made any progress on this? In the mean time I moved my Quartz enemy cast bar to this position to replace it.
As for the pitbull threat bar, maybe its threat v1 instead of the new threat v2 at a guess.

eePanel2 and PitBull Parenting
I recently decided to switch to PitBull unit frames due to the performance increase. I ran into a problem when parenting a panel I created using eePanel2 to a PitBull frame and that is understandable since PitBull frames are created dynamically and direct parenting in eePanel is static based on the frame name.
I have read countless forums across the web including wowace official threads related to scripting the parenting function rather than using the static parenting option. eePanel2 also has a dynamic fix you can enable but regardless I still run into the same problems with my panels getting out of place or assigned to different unit frames as they are created throughout a gameplay session.
I am not very good with scripting and my knowledge of it is somewhat minute but I am trying to learn. I am looking for any help at all that can get me started in figuring out how to do this or a mentor that would devote me a bit of his time to explaining how to fix my problem.

I recently switched from X-perl to Pitbull, and very pleased so far. It's just one little thing that annoys me, I miss the little box attached to the player frame in X-perl where you can see which players/mobs have me as a target. Very handy at times.
is there any way Pitbull can do the same thing? I have been peeking at all the options available, but to no avail.

You can probably make a DogTag so show what people are targetting you.

Is there any reason why the textures in MyMedia file wouldn't be available as a texture selection in Pitbull? I re-installed all my mods last week and now I can't seem to get one of Hal's textures selected for Pitbull when it works for all other mods where that is an option. Any ideas?

There was a guy a few posts back that was having lag issues with Pitbull since the patch, particularly when ppl logged on and off and got into or out of the raid...I am having the same problem, was wondering if anyone knew of something to fix it?

[Pitbull] Lag Issue When Raid Member Joins/Leaves
Some people disabled some of the dogtags for raid frames and got rid of the problem.

You need to edit the SharedMedia LUA file in SharedMedia. It should be pretty straightforward.

Okay, I have a question about the Main Tank / Main Assist frames.
How does Pitbull determine who is the MT/MA? A friend and I experimented with Pitbull and oRA a month or so ago and never managed to figure it out. Sometimes Pitbull would pick up on oRA assigned MTs, sometimes it would pick up on default Blizzard assigned MTs, and sometimes it seemed like it would not work for either.
Basically, I want to get rid of my oRA frames and just use Pitbull's. However, if I can't reliably figure out how the heck Pitbull populates the frames, I can't do this...

Does anyone know if it's possible to have a units health colored by a dogtag, rather than using the normal color settings. For example what I want to do, is that if something is CCd, change the color of their health to a particular color.
If not, does anyone know if it's planned? or easy to modify the code to get this effect.

I am using Pitbull since yesterday and have a question about the health bar coloring. I really love the classcoloring thing so i can see immediately who i am facing, but i also want to have the bars change their color if the targets lose health: green -> yellow -> red. I know that u can choose between these options at pitbull but it is also possible to run both at the same time?

For both the above posts, check out the DogTags 3.0 thread. Pitbull uses DogTags to format frame elements.

This is quite strange as in point 1 you want the healthbar to have Classcolor and in point 2 when they take damage it should change color, overwriting point 1?
I think you have to choose what you want here. (many other ways to show a persons class tho )

Odd bug with Pitbull. I updated with WAU today (no externals, auto dependency) and if I update oRA2, BigWigs and Quartz to the latest versions then Pitbull loses all the font options in the dropdown box, leaving it with just Blizzard fonts

See my post above - I narrowed the same problem down to one of 3 addons causing the issue.

As far as I can tell, it uses CTRA/oRA main tanks (and ignores the Blizzard ones) if there's at least 1, otherwise it uses Blizzard main tanks. I have never been in a raid with main assists set, so I can't say anything about that.
Also, note that the Pitbull's main tanks will grow past 5, even though it only shows 5 in configuration mode.

Okay, so I can essentially set up Pitbull MT frames and disable the oRA ones without any drawbacks. Thanks.

Annoying bug or something with PitBull.
After WAU uppdate "lost" all textures leaving only Blizzard ones.
Is there any solution to retriave them?

Of course. I think you have to disable the text called "combat".
